At the road’s quiet end, the KSTDC Hotel Mayura Riverview Srirangapatna stood waiting, like a timeless friend, carrying whispers of the many travelers who came before us. From the moment we arrived, the experience felt special – an early check-in, a thoughtful confirmation call, and staff whose warmth matched the serene surroundings. The Deluxe Room opened up to a view that words can barely capture – the river flowing gently below, a living painting framed by the balcony. The room itself felt like a quiet retreat: soft lighting, well-kept amenities, and an extra bed thoughtfully arranged for my son, making it feel like a home amidst nature. Even though the hotel carries an old-world charm, it stands as a living legend, exceeding every expectation. Meals at the Kutira Restaurant were a delight, not just for the taste but for the ambience – a place where every bite is accompanied by the whispers of the river and the rustle of trees. The highlight was the river touching the very steps of the property, as if nature itself had come to welcome us. Families with little children added to the cheerful atmosphere, all drawn to the same natural beauty. What made the stay truly memorable was the staff – warm, attentive, and ever ready to help. Their hospitality blended seamlessly with the calm of the surroundings, making our visit more than just a holiday; it became a soulful experience. Kudos to KSTDC Mayura Riverview team for creating such a sanctuary of peace. We left with hearts full of gratitude and a promise to return soon to relive this embrace of nature.

I liked the place prior to ownership change. After the name changed from country inn to county retreat, the place has been run down significantly.
