Hotels near Nishiumeda Square, Osaka

We loved x3 the hotel . I had very little expectation from the hotel (was just looking for somewhere to rest whilst in Osaka), so this made the experience much better. Location: The hotel is right above the train station which made commute very easy. View: it was an excellent view of the city from the 32nd floor especially at night (free of charge) . I think the building is even higher than the Umeda sky building . I particularly loved seeing the trains coming in and out of the station. Stunning Food : Breakfast was excellent with a good selection. We really enjoyed the meals Room : The hotel is modern in design and we loved the furniture . The rooms are not too big but the room look quite spacious by maximising the space . Things are tucked away in cupboards so the room looks simple and not too busy. The toilet is very modern. Bed was very soft and so we slept like babies . I have read about people being affected by the noise from outside but this was not an issue for us. we were not disturbed by any noise. Overall - It is definitely one of the best hotels I have stayed in and I have stayed in a number of hotels . Again, having little expectations was one if the major factors for this. The staff were very polite and helpful . Kudos to whoever designed the hotel and the rooms - we think you did a fantastic job. On the last day , we had to wait a few minutes for a table for breakfast on Sunday morning but I excused this by understanding that just like me, a lot of people will return to the hotel . The staff did their best to manage the situation. We will not hesitate to book this hotel if we come again to Osaka. * This was a personal experience and I do not like hyping/praising things so that people are not disappointed due to their expectations . So my advice would be that if you are looking at booking the hotel based on this review , then do so with an open mind and not have high expectations. More importantly , just try to enjoy your stay*

The location was great, everything was clean and the room we got was big. Great value for the money that we paid, in my opinion.

We stayed at this beautiful hotel for two nights before heading back to Europe, and it was the perfect choice. The location is ideal—close to the main train station with easy access to the airport, which made getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel itself was very comfortable, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Osaka!

There was a problem when we checked in but the staff did everything to make sure it was solved. Very happy with the location, shopping and restaurants close by. We loved the view!

I enjoyed the breakfast because there are a lot of choices. Great service too! The staff were very courteous. I looked forward to waking up in the morning to have my breakfast.

Enjoyed the whole experience of the Hotel Monterey Osaka, Only real issue I had is trying to find out how to turn off the lights to go to bed the first night. Was not aware of special buttons on night stand. Actually a guy that stayed there and did a YouTube video showed his on the headboard. LOL.

Room is spacious enough for two suitcases. Staffs are very friendly, they sent our suitcases into the room before we return to hotel. Various amenities, even skin care sets. I guess it's ladies package?? But very thoughtful and helped a lot, cus I forgot to bring cleansing!

Super comfortable beds, nice building and super big bathroom (comparing to the other places we stayed in Japan). Breakfast was also very good.

The location is amazing. I stayed on the 14th floor and it was amazing and i slept very comfortably!

The onsen was amazing and included in the price (there is a specific time for men and other for women). The room was spacious (for the standards in Japan) and they cleaned our room every day. The staff is SUPER nice!!! They helped us a lot!!!

Very close to the train station

This place is so conveniently close to the enormous Osaka station that traveling around was a breeze. The staff were very friendly and could handle my broken English and Japanese. The heating was great for the middle of winter, and because the entrance is tucked around the corner from the main street it's nice and quiet inside, and my room was free of any blaring lights or traffic noises at night. The free matcha tea was a nice touch.

The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable. You can relax with the onsen and sauna after a long day. The hotel has coin-operated washing machines and dryers. Location is very handy, with a convenient store and a pharmacy on the ground floor.

Everything - from our Japanese style room, to the amazing Chinese restaurant! All the staff were amazing, helpful and so friendly

Eclectic design, very helpful staff (eg reservations), nice public areas, walk-in shower plus bath tub, washlet, pyjamas (all unusual for Europeans), good location.

Exceptional Hotel! I loved the decoration! Location 2 minutes walking from Osaka station in a place away from the hassle of Osaka but close enough ro reach by tube. Plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Staff very attentive. Super clean with an wow view!
