The rooftop pool area was great. The hotel was utilitarian and fulfilled it's role as an international hotel. The staff paid for our aiport transfer. The nearby shops were very good and cheap.
The breafast was excellent. The dinners in the restaurant served international food which was very useful with very small children.

If you LOVE the electricity of Marakesh, skip the gardens.
If you LOVE the electricity of Marakesh, skip the gardens. If you need a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, this is an escape and it is very well suited for instagram photos. The contrast between the blue and yellow is beautiful. I was miserable and could not stand being in a Malibu backyard when I was so close to the fantastic energy of the old city.

A bit overrated and over priced, even when booking a time slot, still long queues and lots of security guards watching your every step, not very relaxing. Go to the Secret Garden instead - peaceful and calm and a lot closer to town - easy to walk, no booking needed.

Definitely worth a visit as it's only 10 minutes and a taxi from the centre and expect to pay between 50 and 70 Dirham for the cab from the old town.
Try to arrive early because I arrived late morning and there was a queue for about 30 minutes to enter,as numbers are restricted inside.

Nice and magical but way too crowded...
Nice and magical but way too crowded... A bit overrated in my opinion. You can get tickets online which can include the entrance to the YSL museum as well as the Berber museum. Or buy the ticket at the YSL museum, the queue is smaller ;-)

Very spacious and beautiful apartment. Well equipped kitchen. We liked the location- a bit outside of the centre, but still within a walking distance to medina and the Majorelle Gardens. Close to a shopping centre. Good transport connection with the centre. Nice host, even though she didn't speak English we managed to communicate ok.
