Cheap and simple. But good value. Not fancy. Very nice family operating it. Very simple honest folks. Almost like staying with a village family.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay, even though we couldn't book the beach view chalet. The beach is rocky, so make sure to bring water shoes. There are several cafes and restaurants nearby, offering plenty of dining options. Another highlight is the duty-free shop just a 5-minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting us with any questions we had. The property is located at the far end of Tekek, making it a peaceful and relaxing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the main village.

We stayed at Beruntun Hideaway in August 2025, shortly after it opened in April, and it was a truly memorable experience. Wan, the owner, runs the entire place on his own and puts an incredible amount of effort into making guests feel welcome. His dedication really shows, especially in the little details and in organizing activities. We joined a snorkeling trip through him, which turned out to be one of the highlights of our stay – we swam with turtles and even spotted reef sharks, which was unforgettable!
