The breakfast was SENSATIONAL! So much food for one person and so beautifully presented by staff who were extremely obliging. Couldn't speak more highly of it. My room itself was well appointed and better than I expected.

I can confirm all positive comments of others. We had a lovely stay, the location is fantastic, we loved the spacious room and even while it was getting cold outside, the heating in the room was more than adequate: super comfy. It's the perfect location from where to stroll around the wonderful center of Leiden, and if you're done walking around, there are some fantastic restaurant options just across from Ex-Libris, so easy and enjoyable.

Charging an electric car is included in the hotel price - there is no additional fee for charging the car every night during your stay. It is the perfect place to see Leiden because of its excellent hotel location and to visit many beautiful places around using your car - there are no charging costs for your electric vehicle.

Excellent customer service and breakfast

Quiet area, very comfortable and larger room than the average. There is a "all you can eat" restaurant downstairs with very diverse and tastefull food, plenty dessert options too. The service is great!

The way they re did the bathroom absolutely clever gives you the feeling of a boutique hotel.

Beautiful room with comfortable bed. Great location. Pretty quiet on the street in front of the hotel. Clean and good amenities in room and in lobby area (e.g. nice coffee machine in lobby). Nice view of the canal is worth paying just a little extra.

Charming place, gorgeous suite (they even gave us an upgrade so we looked over the canal ❤️), THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT! Only blocks from the center of the old section but on a very quiet street. Had almost zero interaction with the staff, but the woman we talked to that buzzed us in was very friendly. The guy there during the day wasn’t terribly friendly or communicative. When he came to clean up our room and we were still there he just left towels and skipped cleaning for the day even though we were gone most of the afternoon.

We bicycled and stayed just one night each in five towns. We arrived tired and wet and were very appreciative of the comfortable and large room here. Our room felt more like a small apartment/suite, with a sitting space, large room for the bed, large bathroom, etc. Very comfortable and quiet. There is a bike park right across the road, so it was very convenient.

I liked that it wasn't on a main street but yet close enough for everything. And quiet.

The location is great. It’s near the train station and we were able to catch the bus to the Keukenhof gardens. It’s also near downtown Leiden which is a beautiful small city.

The view from our room was beautiful and the location was excellent. Great price for what we got!

The rooms and bathroom were spacious. We liked there was a mini fridge and a coffee and tea bar. There were options to hang up our clothes, and with the heat it was great to have a fan and a balcony door that could stay open. The location is perfect. Right in the middle of the centrum next to a square filled with restaurants and places to sit outside. Central station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. This was our 4th time in this hotel, and we plan to return next year.

The place is really beautiful and close to everything. Just for your information: for people with mobility difficulties, the stairs are a bit steep.
