Very nice hotel, if you want a quiet place not in the city center but yet easy to get there this is the choice. There is a coffee machine in the room, which was very nice.

The hotel is comfortable and it is the only hotel with a balcony for such a nice price. The hotel staff works very well. The receptionists helped us with everything we asked them to do and were always very friendly

Great location, good value for Amsterdam!

It is a pity I just had 1 night in this apartment! I had a business meeting before, in a hotel paid by the company, twice as expensive and with pretty small rooms. De Jonker is impressive: my room (number 17) was a real mini-apartment, very comfortable, with good lighting, temperature, very comfortable bed. There is a lift to go up with any suitcase. My winter jacket got soaking wet in the rain, and in the apartment I discovered that the floor in the bathroom is heated, so just spreaded the jacket on the floor overnight to dry it! There is a kettle, a coffee machine, and actually a whole kitchen!

Comfy beds, good pressure of the shower, lovely location in front of a park and far from the noissy and less charming centre. Loved that we jave our own lockers where to leave our staffs after check out. Amazing breakfast! (Worth the money for sure)

Catherine at reception really took the extra steps to help me out. My taxi driver had taken me to the wrong hotel! I had a reservation at their sister hotel on the east side of town and he took me to the west. So not only did she accommodate me, she granted me an early check-in and then was very helpful providing information about getting around the city. She also later arranged for a taxi and a wake up call. Then the next morning I decided I needed to leave a little earlier so I went to the reception desk and the gentleman there accommodated me immediately. I was also presented with coffee, some cookies. Way beyond the norm..

The word authentic is in the name of the hotel, and that is exactly what you get. Our room was incredible, featuring an upstairs with extra beds and a basement bathroom with an amazing tub. We had a great time. The hotel was easy to reach and they were super helpful in accommodating my requests related to my wedding. The location is great, away from the city centre so you can experience the "real" Amsterdam. But still only a short stroll and a tram ride from all major sightseeing locations.
