Hotels near Dronrijp Station, Menaldum

Location was fantastic as was the breakfast.

Clean and nice personnel! Bicycle to use for the city.

Excellent staff. Cozy bed and linens. Spacious room with plenty of tea and coffee, a/c. Perfect location near all sites and 10 min walk to train and bus stations. Historic building, has lift.

I recently stayed at Van der Valk Hotel Leeuwarden and was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. The hotel is modern, spacious, and immaculately maintained. My room was large, with a comfortable bed, stylish décor, and a spotless bathroom equipped with a rainfall shower. Small touches like the coffee machine, generous desk space, and quiet atmosphere made it perfect for both work and relaxation. The breakfast: unfortunately I didn’t have the chance to try the breakfast. Location-wise: the hotel is just outside the city center, making it easy to reach by car with free parking, yet only a short drive or bike ride into Leeuwarden’s charming old town. What stood out most was the staff: friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to make guests feel welcome. From check-in to check-out, everything felt effortless and well-organized.

Single room, perfect for solo travellers at a reasonable price.

Room was good. Staff were exceptional, very helpful and polite, couldn't do enough for us. Dinner was fantastic in the restaurant - best dinner whilst in Holland!

My husband and I were traveling around Friesland with our teen-aged granddaughter, and we had stayed at this Inn many years ago, so we went back. It has changed hands since then, and it is still charming. The new owner is friendly and helpful. It's just a short drive to Balsward, where we went for dinner, and an easy trip to Sneek the next morning. The breakfast was the best we had on our whole trip. Our rooms were clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was better than most hotel breakfasts. I wish there were more savory options that did not include pork.

Breakfast was exceptional. Staff was great.

Excellent location, good sized room, excellent breakfast at a reasonable price

This was an amazing stay, the outside pod cabins are super nice and the view is out of this world! The staff are so friendly and nice, always smiling and very helpful. The breakfast is awesome, all local and home made products, they even requested halal meat for us from the supplier which was so considerate of them. We loved out stay there.

Their love for detail. Beautiful, well maintained, extremely clean, super nice owners that spoil you with a high quality breakfast. Very welcoming.

Sfeer is goed, fijne mensen. Leuk dorp!

The location is just across from the train station and the staff is super friendly. The room is basic, but meets all requirements. Fantastic value for money!

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Room is very clean and the breakfast was very good. I would stay there again.

Wonderful location and great people Beautiful old hotel out over the water

Grand common areas, comfortable beds, strong air conditioning in the rooms which was great in the heat wave. Friendly staff

Everything, very clean, great facilities in lobby, cozy, comfortable bed and room.

The staff were exceptional! The rooms were comfortable. The property was quaint with a days gone by charm. The breakfast was amazing

Very beautiful location, quiet and full of charm and history. The staff is so kind and helpful and the receptionist is one of the most kind persons you can ask for. We will be back for sure next year.
