got upgrade with seating area and access to roof terrace. Wow!!!! Felt like a Princess;-) Thank you Was a pleasant, roomy, quiet room with excellent views. Everything was super Lughage storage when arriving early, seats to hang out, Internet access, checked in earlier than expected, friendly receptionist, super nice inhouse cafe/restaurant. Breakfast was very generous with plenty of variety in a great setting in the restaurant. Bus to)from Ferry was included;-) and stops and pucks up right in front of the Entrance. Thanks for all the extras;-)

Ruime kamers, alles mooi schoon, comfortabel, mooi uitzicht op het haventje. Fijn zwembad met sauna en bubbelbad. Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijtbuffet erg lekker en uitgebreid. Komen zeker nog een keer terug

Grand common areas, comfortable beds, strong air conditioning in the rooms which was great in the heat wave. Friendly staff

Comfortable spaces from bedroom to hallways, from bike storage to restaurant deck. A nice touch was having photos of birds on the room doors, complete with QR code to gain information on any of the birds. I appreciated that they offered bike rentals, and that many of the bikes they had were e-bikes.

The Hotel and staff never failed to deliver in all areas. The location made for an easy stroll into town, Hotel parking was easy too. The Hotel has a friendly, homely feeling reinforced by the welcoming attitude of the staff.

We prefer one of the water-view balcony rooms in the main building. If those are not available, we were very happy to get our other choice: the downstairs terrace room in the attached building, especially now that I have trouble walking. We (3 Bergman families-gezinnen) have been coming to Princenhof since about 1984. My mother was the first one of us who came for Skutjesilen from Florida and discovered the comfortable viewing of he Race at the Princenhof. The restaurant and bar with its spectacular view are excellent. We are especially delighted with local Friesian breads/koek for breakfast. The Desk Staff and the dining room staff were extremely helpful when we needed some assistance and information. Looking forward to the next stay....
