United StatesThe area is a small town but location is pretty easy to city bus and also about 7 mins walking to the castle. Great location, beautiful view of castle from patio, loved that there was complementary tea, also grateful for helping us with luggage for a few hours as it made our trip easier. Communication with host was easy and she responded quickly. Appreciated that we got our own bathroom for our rooms and that there was an extra toilet just in case. Place is spotless, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great, so beautiful and wild! The staff was very kind, a man even extended his working hour before closing so I could see the top of the castle, at the end of the visit! Thanks! I recommend it! had to go back to visit after a quick bus tour stop 2 yrs earlier. the castle in the sky is fascinating. internet didn't warn us there are few if any english tours, but our guide was multi-lingual and included us in her informative tour. walk-through worth it regardless of language.Guest review byRuthNew Zealand

The shower was amazing, great water pressure the views of the Orava castle were thrilling and breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The host speaks English, and that made us feel more comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, with many options! It’s right next to Orava castle and several restaurants in the village. I was planning to go to the station by taxi but the owner was really kind, he took me there and it was really helpful because I had a big luggage. Moreover, he asked staff of the station to bring up my luggage into the train which was also helpful. The room was cozy and they provide extra towels which was nice! His young teenage daughter told me instructions instead of the owner. She was really nice and the instructions were perfect.Guest review byRisaJapan
