Far too expensive for what you get to see. Buffet was like in a 2 star hotel, but the price was like in a 5 star hotel. The so called attractions cannot attract somebody who is not Asian. Boring show, crowds of people and expensive. Never again.
Nice location, facilities, and good food with great them park setup ended with moderate standard show performance. The elephant show runs only for one hour and was full of effects and crowd that keep you distracted all the time and on top of that, the firework was too loud. The surrounding shops and games price list were high a bit and the staff were not happy and welcoming in general !?
FantaSea promotes cruel practices in their use of elephants for dance and performance. Really question whether you’re comfortable being a part of this before you show them your support. Instead, you could try visiting one of the local elephant sanctuaries that rescue animals from this type of work. You would then get to learn more about them as well as options to hand feed them and bath them in a river. Then you could top it off with a cabaret in town that’s limited to human performers!
Buffet of a la carte, it turns out equally costly. Costlier than outside. Show is fun in bouts - magic, dance, traditional activities, story of a prince woven into one confusing show. Worth it? Can't really say.
The amusement park itself was wonderful with beautiful architecture, but as an elephant lover it hurt my heart to see elephants being used for rides (although big creatures, their backs weren't meant to support that extra weight). Also the show was good for the most part and I'm not sure if I missed the warning/advertising that there would be some very loud noises at times during the show, but a heads up on that would have been much appreciated.
The show itself was excellent we paid extra for the seafood buffet and was extremely disappointed. We arrived quite early and there was 12 other people, our food took 40 minutes and I had to remind them 3 times as they forgot. And when it arrived it was cold and not cooked properly. It's a bit misleading calling it a seafood buffet as all there was was sushi and a few other fish dishes. You can also eat in the other restaurant where the food was a reasonable price. I expected more fish selection and being cooked like deep fried or steamed sea bass or travelly. We spent £171 for the entrance including food with a seat upgrade. I was not happy at all with the food or service so avoid. Eat first then come. The show was really great but the firework crackers are very loud. I did not see what difference the seat upgrade was either as they look identical. I don't moan but certain things are a ridiculous rip off here including the photos.
