Location was quiet and more than enough convenience stores, cafes, restaurants.

One of the best and newest hotels in Taipei.

The location was fantastic near shops and resturants. The bathroom was very large and spacious and included a tub in the shower.

I have stayed in quite a number of hotels, including 5-star hotels (I have lifetime elite status in a specific chain). The Evergreen Laurel hotel is easily the best among all the hotels I have stayed in. Every hotel I stayed in previously always have something that is not ideal but not this hotel. The beds are comfortable, room is brightly lit (which is a big plus and super rare), a lot of good amenities are provided in the room (increasingly rare in post-covid world), shower water pressure is good, the water temperature is easy to set and remains consistent and the sound-proofing is good - I did not hear any noise from my neighbors (the hotel is full). The location is fantastic as well - I stayed a total of 5 nights and every location I plan to go to is easily reached from the hotel, either by bus or metro. There are two metro stations nearby - Songjiang Nanjing on the green line and Zhongxiao Fuxing on the blue line. Both are within walking distance though the latter is slightly further. There are multiple convenience stores nearby, as well as a Watsons and a Carrefour supermarket. The famous Leechi is right next door. The housekeeping standard is impeccable as well. Oh ya there are also coin-operated washing and drying machines in the hotel. I will definitely be back again when I return to Taipei!

Quite a surprise that this property turns out to be a great stay - so carefully designed, indirect lightning, power sockets, room layout/ smart use of the space. The operator certainly knows hotel/hospitality industry and has considered all the necessities v.s. some newly opened ones that appear to be 門外漢. Attentive and friendly staff. Also, you can’t argue the importance of a proper sheltered front entrance — this is super important in rainy days and so guests can be really relaxed and look classy.
