Impeccable service! The rooftop pool had a wonderful view in the evening. Quite close to MRT station. The rooms have Japanese toilets that open up and flush automatically.

The staff were super helpful, welcoming, and kind. The rooms were clean with a nice heated toilet. Very beautiful bathtub and nice bathroom in general. The breakfast wasn’t amazing, but was really nice with many options.

I have stayed in quite a number of hotels, including 5-star hotels (I have lifetime elite status in a specific chain). The Evergreen Laurel hotel is easily the best among all the hotels I have stayed in. Every hotel I stayed in previously always have something that is not ideal but not this hotel. The beds are comfortable, room is brightly lit (which is a big plus and super rare), a lot of good amenities are provided in the room (increasingly rare in post-covid world), shower water pressure is good, the water temperature is easy to set and remains consistent and the sound-proofing is good - I did not hear any noise from my neighbors (the hotel is full). The location is fantastic as well - I stayed a total of 5 nights and every location I plan to go to is easily reached from the hotel, either by bus or metro. There are two metro stations nearby - Songjiang Nanjing on the green line and Zhongxiao Fuxing on the blue line. Both are within walking distance though the latter is slightly further. There are multiple convenience stores nearby, as well as a Watsons and a Carrefour supermarket. The famous Leechi is right next door. The housekeeping standard is impeccable as well. Oh ya there are also coin-operated washing and drying machines in the hotel. I will definitely be back again when I return to Taipei!
