Well worth the ticket price. First time visitor . Even though I have not done so myself ( Yet), I believe that an Annual Pass is probably worth the extra price, especially if one is within a few hours driving distance of Asheville. I would imagine the seasonal blooms would make each trip different. Be prepared for crowds though, especially in this era of social distancing. Dont think there is ever an off season there !
Biltmore estate is outrageously priced. Lodging is sky high. If you're going, buy the house tour ticket that comes with access to the grounds. We've been on the house tour several times so on this trip we just wanted to visit the winery and surrounding shops. They wanted to charge us $50.00 per person just to have access to the grounds.
They sell tickets to the state house saying its by appointment only. We tried to change our time and they said we couldnt , when we got there we noticed that was not by appointment ...first comes basis.
There are more attractions spread out into seperate areas on the Estate. Be prepaired to do some walking. Not too handicap friendly. Long distances from Handicap parking lots with uphill grades hard on those pushing wheel chairs. There are closer drop off points for those who are passengers. It was raining the day we had passes so didn't enjoy the visit. Had it been a good day my coments may have been better. The inside of the mansion was as beautiful as I had remembered it.
This is a really great place to visit but quite expensive. We visited during the pandemic, and unfortunately many attractions that were supposed to be included closed down early with no notice. It was very disappointing because we had planned to spend more time there. It is a beautiful place. I think I would like to go back one day and get the whole experience.
It is an amazing property. We did the Legacy of the Land tour and I did the Rooftop tour as well as the house tour. We also ate at the Stable Restaurant for lunch. A little pricey, but fun to do if you want the ambiance.
Breakfast selection was good. The quality was microwave style foods which didn't taste very good, but to each its own. I appreciate the variety in the options they did have so there is something for several palettes. The location was great, a stones throw from the Biltmore Estate and not too far from downtown Asheville very easy to get to. The room and hotel were clean, and had good sanitation measures in place to protect guests.
Our stay at the Princess Anne was a wonderful experience. The breakfast ,included in the price ,was excellent, with several choices. We took our dog, and he loved all the attention that he was given; A special dog treat at arrival for him as well as a charcuterie tray and wine for us. The hotel is located very near to downtown as well as the Biltmore Estate. We felt as we were at home here, and hope we can return soon.
Affordable, pleasant staff, excellent location to Biltmore Estates and Village, easy access into town and surrounding areas, quiet in the back of hotel, clean once housrkeeping came in (vacuum, sanitized, etc...), very comfortable beds, looked like the bathroom had been upgraded, easy access to Texas Roadhouse and gas station
The location was perfect for us. About 10 minutes from the Biltmore Estate and many other incredible restaurants in Asheville. Staff was fantastic, breakfast was well stocked with a good selection of popular options. Room was clean, AC worked well, and the water pressure was nice.
We were very pleased with the hotel. The room was well appointed, roomy, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was very pricey, but, you could not beat the location to the Biltmore Village, Biltmore Estates, the Freeways, and the Blueridge Parkway.
The location was good, close to Biltmore Estate and amenities. The room was spacious and I liked that there was a good apartment size kitchen with a small dining area and living room. The bathroom was quite roomy and the bed was to my comfort.
Fantastic hotel in every way. Friendly staff, excellent clean rooms, and very nice breakfast. Location is near entrance to Biltmore estate and easy walking to Biltmore Village. Stayed in 3 Hotels on our vacation. This one was by far the best.
Breakfast was very good, restaurant was attractive and clean, staff attentive and friendly. Room large and spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. Hotel close to Biltmore Estate (the reason for our visit).
We liked the location. It was good for what we were doing in Asheville, visiting Biltmore Estate, sight seeing and going downtown. The cottage was clean and the beds were comfortable.
Location near Biltmore Estate and village shops. Hotel staff were exceptional in service and were personable. Beds were very comfortable.
