The staff was lovely, the Marriott app is a great addition to the experience as it gave us easy communication with the reception and housekeeping team. Matteo on the bar had the most delicious cocktails made for us whenever we came down to the bar. The Le Labo body lotion was lovely as well.

Location is great; the staff were awesome and really helpful, place was super cute and clean, perfect for 2 nights !

The location was ideal from being in the heart of NYC!! Friendly staff from the most freshest breakfast and tastiest latte I've ever had.My way of saying "this is what it's all about" the bottles of water given to us every day, those small details, turned out to the biggest one's.Highly recommended.

Location was great. We would definitely stay here again and spend more time in Union Square area. We were in Times Square for two plays, so only spent a little time in the Union Square area. The room was very nice. The beds, and bedding, were comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

I stayed at Hotel 31 Extended Stay for a full month, and honestly, for the price, you simply won’t find anything comparable in New York—especially in Midtown. If you’re looking for a practical, well-located option without breaking the bank, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to book here again. When I was first searching, I was honestly a bit concerned that, given the relatively low price, it might be unsafe or unreliable. But that impression disappeared as soon as I arrived. What really stood out to me was how functional and comfortable the room was for a longer stay. The bed was large and genuinely comfortable, which matters more than people think when you’re there for weeks. Towels were changed daily, and the toiletries were surprisingly high quality—definitely above what you’d expect at this price point. The room also had a medium-sized fridge with a freezer, which turned out to be incredibly useful and made day-to-day life much easier. There’s no microwave in the room, but with a Trader Joe’s just two blocks away offering plenty of ready-to-eat options at very reasonable prices, it really wasn’t an issue. There’s also a wash-and-fold laundry service just one block away, which made managing a month-long stay very convenient. When I first arrived, I was placed in a smaller room, but the staff made a real effort to accommodate me and moved me to a larger one the very next day. That’s the room I stayed in for the rest of the month, and I really appreciated that flexibility—especially since I had four pieces of luggage and needed space to unpack. More than anything, this hotel will stay in my memory because it’s where I first landed at the start of what will be a multi-year experience in New York. It gave me the time and peace of mind to look for a permanent place without stress.

The location was perfect. There was some noise from the street, but we were always so tired that it wasn't a problem for us. The staff were also very friendly.

Everything, staff were really friendly and helpful, we only stayed one night but at check out we were told we could leave our luggage there for the day this was very helpful because we had two bags each and still so much more stuff to see, the room was lovely and clean, as were the shared bathrooms. The location was very good for some of the attractions in New York, Times Square was a short walk. The area was nice and peaceful. I would definitely stay again in the future. Also, the free coffee and cold water were great after a long day of touring.

The location is ideal. Services offered were amazing. There is free coffee and lemonade 24/7 in the lobby. Breakfast was basic but really nice. The staff was exceptional. I would like to mention Miss Megha she went above and beyond to ensuring we had a comfortable stay and gave us farewell water and chocolates complimentary when we were leaving the hotel. It really made our day and the whole experience overall.

Love it - great staff Review of Hampton Inn Manhattan-Chelsea Reviewed 4 weeks ago So I'm currently on my third day here at this hotel. Whilst the outside looks quite meek, and I would recommend them putting some lights outside as it would be easier to find when we return on the evening, I cannot fault the experience or the staff, particularly Jessie Johnson. The breakfast has been fantastic we have been early so I don't know about the reviews that say things were out later, however there is orange juice, apple juice, strawberry and kiwi water available. There are two types of wafflemakers with batter readily available. Three types of cereal and there is oatmeal, there has been scrambled eggs and potato option and a sausage/turkey sausage meat option each morning. They have hot water although no English breakfast tea, there are a range of available. That is open 24 seven for decaf, dark roast and light roast coffee as well. It was very nice when we came in night it was cold and they had a hot chocolate station. They've treated my two children who are 10 and 12 with great care. There is a little station where you can get noodles and snacks you can buy those at reception, and then there is microwave available there to heat those up if you want to. We also have the breakfast station with breads and muffin options range of sauces et cetera.Although not the biggest, the restaurant it certainly is suited to what we need. The room has cleaned every day with the beds being made, shower is a great temperature and strong enough, bath is very small but that's to be expected I think in New York. The beds are a good English size King, plenty of channels on the TV but excessive amounts of adverts as they tend to have an American TV. There are hot water facilities in the room a hairdryer, complementary shampoo, shower gel, and anything we needed at the desk they have arranged for us.

The room was all we were expecting and more, the view did not disappoint. Everyone at the desk was super nice and helpful. Great overall.
