Boulder City Dam Inn and the town are gorgeous and nice stay. Quality Inn looks nice too on bluff near Lake. Temple Bar Resort has VERY basic cabins with kitchen right on the lake beach in a great location, for young backpackers or RV families. Check it out - best on Google maps then click images.

Well, if I was traveling to Vegas I’d stay in Vegas. But for a restful night on a cross-country drive I was glad to discover Boulder City. No neon, no noise and no casinos. It’s near beautiful Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam. The hotel’s restaurant was good for a decent light supper and a glass of excellent local craft beer, and there are a couple of other food options within an easy walk. Everyone I met here was exceptionally friendly - I experienced true hospitality.

From $90 per nightThis place is a jewel. Beautiful room, clean and high quality bedding. The room is clean and the microwave/ fridge/ dinning room was a bonus! Walking distance to the Historical Boulder City downtown. Located driving distance to Valley of Fire State Park, Hoover Dam and the Lake Mead Recreation Area. We booked one night and because of how perfect the Sands Motel was, ending up staying two nights. Check out this wonderful Motel, it is perfect.

The hotel was well located to the boat ramp at Lake Meade where I met my professional fishing guide. The convenience store at the hotel had everything I needed for my fishing trip. I was pleased to see the secutity guard walking about outside since I left fishing gear and a briefcase in my car.
