Booked this place 6 months ago and was excited about getting here till we walked in and found the place filthy with leftover pizza and other foods left out and in fridge, used Kleenex behind couch that was pulled away from wall, and Kleenex in the bathroom garbage, dirty balled up bed linen on the floor and still on bed, used towels hanging in bathroom, dead bugs on counters, furniture and floors, a furnace filter with 2 inches of dust in it,and a sliding door that cannot be locked because there is NO latch. Have not been able to secure our belongings in the place at all. The guest book states this problem has been like this for past tenants as well. I called the contact number provided and was told by the man that answered he has not worked for this company for over a year and we need to call Evolve (the property company) and talk to them. I called them and the woman states she would open a case # number for us. We asked about getting into another unit and she said there were none available as these properties are owned by various owners. A cleaning did show up 1 and a half hour after arrival but that was after I started washing laundry so we could sleep and bathe for the night as we did not arrive until 730 pm to check in. There are not any available rooms in the area to stay somewhere else so I was stuck here. An email was sent the next day by Evolve stating they were offering me a $134.70 refund for my stay. Really ,really disappointed with what was suppose to be only vacation this year by this situation. So advice to all , stay away from company, property, and be aware of 70 Robinhood apt 2d.Guest review byAnonymous

It was so quiet and so perfect we decorated the cabin for Christmas and had family come over to enjoy the lake while we grilled and while it being 50° outside ! I would highly recommend you and your family stay at Buddys Harbor. It’s the perfect location, the best lakefront cabin. The best pizza at the Lake Of The Ozarks, the most fun I’ve ever had and I’ve been going to the lake ever since the early 1960s. I can only imagine what it’s like in the spring and summer!
