Hotels near McCray Playground, Bronx

great hotel ! clean and staff friendly and helpful! daily room cleaning if required and to-go snacks for purchase if necessary. tv links to own smart phones which was a nice touch!

The floor was heated. I felt warm and cozy.

Perfect location. Close to Central Park. Quiet. Close to subway transit and coffee shops.

The Mark has a wonderful boutique feel that makes the experience feel warm and homely rather than like a large hotel. I particularly liked the rooms, bathrooms and showers, which are very comfortable and well designed. What really stands out, though, is the staff. They are genuinely friendly, attentive and welcoming, which gives the hotel a very personal atmosphere.

Room dark - needed extra light which was quickly provided

Good location, close to the subway station, convenient for travel.

Nice clean small hotel, near underground station, very good bed Served breakfast, very good coffee Helpful and friendly staff

The hotels service customer service representation and employees operate and presume their employed work studies with impeccable excellence.

Location was great, staff were so friendly and helpful , breakfast was nice in the morning :)

A lovely clean room and in a really vibey area, loved it ! Would highly recommend

Located at about 5..7 minutes by foot from the subway station. Basic breakfast but it was ok. Room clean and big enough. But on top of these I experienced a surprised interaction with the staff. I forgot my laptop in the room. When I realise it, I was far away on a cruise, at sea, without phone connection. Returning to NY, after 7 days, I call the hotel, ask if they found my laptop and yes, they did and kept it. So I went back to the hotel and they returned it to me. I highly appreciate the communication and interaction with the staff. Super hotel! Thank you!

The room was specious and the outlay exquisite 👌

- Subway stations, stores and food spots nearby - Vending machines in the lobby with a nice variery of snacks and drinks - SmartTV - The staff was accommodating for the most part

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City. The location is surprisingly convenient: just a 300-meter walk to the nearest subway station, which connects you quickly to all parts of Manhattan in around 30 minutes. Whether you’re heading to Central Park, Times Square, or downtown, it’s a breeze. The hotel itself is spotless. Rooms are cleaned daily and the housekeeping staff truly cares about their work. The interiors are cozy and comfortable, and the hotel provides thoughtful extras like a guest terrace, a snack and ice machine area, and 24/7 assistance. The front desk team deserves special mention. They are simply phenomenal – friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help. They allowed us to check out an hour later than usual and even stored our luggage for almost the entire day after checkout, which made a huge difference as our flight was late at night. Thanks to them, we were able to make the most of every minute in New York. In summary: everything the hotel can control is done to perfection. It’s clean, welcoming, well-managed, and comfortable, with a truly exceptional staff. The area might not be ideal, but the safety and quality inside more than compensate. Would definitely stay here again. 10/10.

Location was perfect for the stadium

Exceptional Stay – Perfect Honeymoon in New York! We are a family of four (two adults and two small children, 6 and 2 years old) who spent our honeymoon in New York, and this hotel made it truly unforgettable! First of all, the location in Harlem should not deter anyone — this is part of New York’s character, and travelers know what to expect. The hotel itself is only a 5-minute walk from the 125th St subway station, which made exploring the city super easy. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The entrance was always staffed by elegantly dressed doormen who greeted us warmly, opened the doors, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The lobby was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt very upscale. The check-in experience was exceptionally friendly — we immediately felt at home. A nice surprise: as many other reviews mention, you receive a $25 daily credit to use at the hotel’s bar or restaurant. The cocktails and food were excellent — absolutely worth it! When we entered our room, we were overwhelmed by how beautifully it was prepared for our honeymoon. The staff had thoughtfully acknowledged our special occasion, and even our children were included in the welcome — it touched us deeply. Housekeeping did a wonderful job throughout our stay. We had quite a bit of clothing and luggage (traveling with kids!), and yet the room was kept perfectly clean. The layout was smart and space-efficient, which is completely normal for New York, but everything we needed was there. We also appreciated the complimentary to-go coffee in the lobby each morning and the infused lemon water offered at midday — small touches that made a big difference. Everywhere we went in the hotel, everything was spotless. On our last day, the porters helped us with our luggage and kindly stored it until our departure later in the afternoon. They were so attentive and professional — just like the rest of the staff. Overall, we were completely satisfied with our stay.

The room and bed was very comfortable. The sheets were white and clean.

I didn’t really like the bedsheets, they were a bit smelly but for the price I won’t complain

Very new and clean hotel with a really comfortable bed and great shower. The two ladies at the front desk were so nice and friendly, and even had our room ready although we arrived early. Very convenient for Columbia University, about a 15 minute walk or one subway stop. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was excellent with variety of options....Location was good enough to reach or find easily.

Large and comfortable bed. Spacious room.
