I liked all the nature around and that the staff was always there to solve our needs (to store our luggage, guide us to get to the place and explain all the experiences that can be lived around) and the breakfast was unbelievably. The bathrooms are impeccable, with towels, toilet paper and each shower is equipped with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel.

This is a perfect place to disconnect and rest, surrounded by nature. The cabin has a spectacular view that you’ll never get tired of. The service is excellent from the moment you make the reservation, they provide all the information you need and are attentive throughout your stay. At night, you can see the stars and realize you’re staying in the thousand-star cabin. Thank you to Mia and Juli for making the experience unforgettable. Everyone should have the chance to visit this place

Quetzal Dorado is a little over a mile from the Zaino entrance to Tayrona: a 3 COP bus ride to the park entrance and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel make it an ideal location. Everything is super clean, the rooms are spacious, you can pay with credit card without a mark up, and the food was great: the coconut shrimp bowl was amazing as were the warm arepas at breakfast. Merri is the sweetest: she so kindly answered my many questions about the area. You MUST get (1) a limonada de coco: THE BEST and made with real coconut, and (2) you must get a massage with Liz. She is an exceptional masseuse. Other reviews mentioned noise from the road: I did not hear noise from the road; I only heard music being played from the hostel next door, but it was good music :)

Danny and Justine are doing a great job at the eco-finca and they can help you with anything you may need for your Tayrona adventure, including leaving your bag if you go to explore the park or take a shower when you get back. The pool is large and nice, and there are nice areas to hangout. The other guests and the staff were very friendly as well. Thanks Danny and Justine for your hospitality.

Lodge Cacao was a fantastic place to chill out for a couple of days. Our room was spacious and the pool area was lovely. We ate in the evening and a couple of times and the food was good. Really good wifi.
