Lodges in Milford Sound

The surrounding area is stunning. The lodge itself very well equipped and comfortable. We had a great dinner at the restaurant and breakfast was brought to our cabin. Fantastic!

The location is incredibly unique. Surrounded by mountains and nature. The rooms are cosy and comfortable and the main lodge & restaurant was amazing. The nature walk with Henerique was a great touch. Breakfast delivered to our room each morning was also lovely.

Everything about this place was classy, lodges by the river/ mountains. All the details in the room. Restaurant and bar are top class, food was perfect. 10/10 all round.

Milford Sound is stunning and the Lodge location with river views was a delight. Super helpful staff. Tara and the Brazilian nature guide (sorry that we didn't catch his name) were real gems! Lovely to have weka and kea birds walking around outside our cabin. We arrived by bus and were picked up and dropped off at the ferry terminal by staff on a number of occasions. So helpful.

Everything was perfect at Milford Sound Lodge as anticipated. This was our third visit and it didn’t disappoint, rooms were perfect, staff were helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We chose the in room dining while the restaurant was being renovated which was an 11/10. Our Riverview suite was stunning and I was pleasantly surprised to find a bath in the room. Look forward to our next trip and highly recommend.

The lodge chalets are perfectly appointed, with everything you could need plus some thoughtful extra touches. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were super friendly and welcoming.

The scenery around the lodge is beautiful and the breakfast quality is really good. Really feel that you woke up in fairyland

What a spectacular location and beautiful lodge. Even though the restaurant was closed for renovations we had a magnificent dinner delivered to our room. First class food and accommodation.

We had stayed here a few years ago, and were a little worried the standard might have dropped. Happy to say, it was even better the second time around. The lodges are incredibly comfortable, warm and cosy – and they are kept to a high standard. Comfy beds, great shower and awesome views.

The location was stunning and the contemporary lodges were clean, extremely well designed, right by the river. The bed was comfortable and the shower was spacious and had excellent pressure and lots of hot water. The restaurant was top notch, the staff friendly and the cuisine delicious. The venison was the best I’ve ever had!
