This Finnish Lapland property offers traditional cabins and a waterfront sauna next to Lake Inari. Guests can enjoy free WiFi, free parking and a beautiful setting surrounded by nature. WOW. What can I say? This was everything I’ve ever imagined and more. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in when we were in Inari. From waking up to the beautiful pink skies right above us and sleeping to the view of the aurora dancing over our heads, honestly it was so surreal. I loved that it was situation in a pretty remote area, it was so peaceful. If you’re here for the aurora, don’t even bother booking a tour because you will see it in the comforts of your cabin or you can just wait out my the lake and watch it dance over the frozen river. There’s a trail nearby you can explore by foot during the day that looks really magical with the pink skies, the staff suggested we check it out. The shops and restaurants are a bit of a walk away so we just bought some groceries and ate in our cabin most nights. There’s also a small hut by the lake where you can start a fire and have a little BBQ., which we did after getting some hotdogs from a the shops. Highly recommend this! Anyway we loved the place so much we extended another night, and lucky we did because there was an aurora storm that night too. I cannot recommend this place enough. Staying here was really a dream come true!!!

Surrounded by nature and hiking trails, Vaattunki Wilderness Resort is located 24 km from Rovaniemi city centre. The room with forest view. The breakfast and Dinner buffet included in our booking. The uncomplicated Tours that Safartica offers in the hotel with pick-up and drop off. The Nature and hike Trails surrounding the resort is amazing.

Lodge 67°N Lapland is located in the centre of Äkäslompolo and at the foot of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Free WiFi and parking are available. The place is wonderful to spend a few days being able to do various activities during the day. The staff is extremely friendly and ready to help you if you need it. Excellent and varied breakfast, possibility to take sauna directly in the lodge. Everything very clean and neat. Super recommended

Authentic cabin, you have entire unit for yourself. Newly furnished kitchenette is fully functional. Cozy sauna and a big fireplace. Drying cupboard is very useful. The hosts are super helpful and are ready to assist you during your stay. All essentials are there, everything that you may need. I loved their attention to details: there are spare batteries, nice pot to cook poronkäristys, and even cinnamon for rice porridge. Another aspect: we were happy we booked a final cleaning (and I recommend it to other guests), it saves you time and worries in the morning of check-out.

Proximity to Santa Claus Village and the beautiful woods. Ollie was very friendly and picked me up from airport. Cabin is COZY and warm, self-sufficient other than the shower which is on a separate building just a few short steps away. Go for a walk in the woods in the dark!

I really love this place so much. It was really a wonderful place to stay, our host Olli was incredibly kind during our stay. We stayed after Christmas till New Years Eve. We were so lucky we saw northern lights right outside the wagon when we went out to the house for shower. The cabin wagon was nice and cozy. A small toliet inside and sink to wash hands. Inside the cabin wagob the floor is heated. Even during the stay we met the extremely cold weather of -25 °C , Olli had more heaters in the cabin wagon. It was nice and warm. We even had a special experience that on the night of new years eve the santa claus village had fireworks. And when we returned to the place, only a 5-10min walk from the santa village(this was great as well!) , Olli and the neighbors had some beautiful fireworks in front of the house. Love everything about this place, if I have the chance to travel here again, I would like you to stay here once again!

The house was perfect. Very comfortable Living room, hot saune, spacious bedrooms...so much better than expected. We even had a Christmas tree :-) The location is close to Ranua (15 minutes by car) and Rovaniemi (1 hour).
