Loved the room with the kitchenette and large patio with a view of the sea. The owner was very sweet and spoke perfect English and had decorated the room beautifully with fresh flowers. Highly recommend to stay here.

TIDA Resort Yakushima 旧 屋久島海の胡汀路てぃーだ fica em Yakushima, Kagoshima, e oferece acomodações com Wi-Fi grátis, estacionamento privativo grátis e acesso a uma banheira de hidromassagem. I simply loved this place. The small house had everything we needed. A kitchen, large dining area, big bathing room. The was a terrance and the balcony with the view on the ocean. The breakfast was delicious and the owners were amazing. Really recommend although you need to rent a car to get there basically but I thing it's a standard if you want to see the island in general ;)

This is a beautiful home that is much more traditional than anywhere else I managed to stay in my month-long trip in Japan. It was spacious and well maintained. It also comes with its own kitchen and fridge if you do want to cook your own food. Though we had trouble communicating in both Japanese (I am far from fluent) and English, we made it through in the end :P.

Also well located to hike the Arakawa trail, I was able to take the first bus without problems. You can also order bento for the trail the day before if you want to, which is super convenient. Also located near a supermarket and the main town, if you want to buy supplies or eat in a local restaurant. It was super clean and super comfortable.
