The place was immaculate and well maintained. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. The shared kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. Whilst we only did a quick stop over before crossing border into Botswana the next morning, I could definitely do an extra night or two to explore the place more next time.

Fifty Seven Waterberg offers accommodation in Welgevonden Game Reserve. Free WiFi is available. Guests enjoy 1 game drive per day. Everything at this lodge was perfect, from start to finish. The property and the rooms are spotless, the food is excellent but it’s the little details here, that make 57 Waterberg so special: the hot-water bags for the morning game drives, the heated bed (we loved it so much!), the housekeeping service that even came the morning we checked out to make the bed so that the room would look neat when we came back from the morning drive. Everyone here was so nice and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we would need. Our Ranger, William, was super knowledgeable and funny, and it seemed like the rangers from other lodges in the reserve were a lot of times looking to him for advice. We cannot recommend 57 Waterberg enough. By the way: the elephant actually visited our room and drank out of our pool - he stayed for 20 minutes! it was so awesome!!

Loved the staff to begin with, very professional and courteous, the food was absolutely amazing, all the time, the game drive guide was knowledgeable and engaging, the whole place is definitely worth another visit. so I would definitely rate my visit and experience a 10/10.
