The rooms are spacious and we all stayed in beds, the hot tub is spacious and works perfectly, we had a family barbecue and celebrated my son's birthday on the terrace. In the surrounding area there are many restaurants, famous hotels, crowded bars and many foreign families doing tourism. We'll be back soon

There are numerous bars and restaurants nearby but to highlight two: 100m to the left, Restau De Marambaia (pricey but excellent) and down the steep hill to the right (1 km), less pricey Malibu Mazinho Gastrobar. I'll sign off with a final thanks to my superb hosts until we meet again.

The whole copacabana is exorbitantly expensive, so the prices for the two-bed rooms here were at a level where you can sometimes go to a 5* hotel in europe. Accordingly, it was disappointing to sleep on plasticised beds and plasticised pillows. All in all, however, it is a very nice hostel, in a great location, safe and with lots of activities.

It was a pleasure to stay, the room was clean and met expectations. I really liked the mini cooler with cold water, it is a salvation in the Rio's heat. All the equipment in the apartment worked and I had no problems. Courteous concierge, and a feeling of safety in this house. The location is perfect, Ipanema is the most cozy beach in Rio for me, better than the overcrowded and noisy Copacabana. I'm glad I chose this place, and I hope to come back here again.

An older style hotel but very clean and room cleaned and serviced daily. Nice buffet breakfast 6-10 am. On 7th floor there is a rooftop small swimming pool and a basic gym. Close to the Gloria metro station and a short walk to the beach across the two bridges over the main roads. A few good local restaurants just outside. Supermarket a 20 minute walk. It's very close (3km) to the Santos Dumont domestic airport but far (25km?) to the international airport.
