Great location, clean and well equipped apartment. Very kind, helpful, and welcoming host.

Perfect stay, good location, amazing food, excellent staff

It is like renting a studio apartment with hotel amenities. Best showers ever! Decent continental breakfast.

Excellently kept hotel, very clean, well looked after! Thank you

The owner was very accommodating and made us comfortable. The house is very nice and has everything

The location is perfect. The center is reachable in a few minutes. My dog was greeted with the finest dog food and bowls for his convenience. The front desk staff is very friendly. The bed is comfy, and the bathroom is clean.

Beautifully restored historic hotel. First class furnishings and lovely staff. Great location in the old Town of Solothurn near gates and river. The restaurant is also very good with excellent service.

the friendliness of the staff and cleaningness of the hotel.

THE HOTEL in next to the famous old clock tower and in the first floor large restauant remarkable is a stone column with its date of construction, 1567, carved into the capitol !!! on the main street, delicious restaurant and wasn't as frighteningly expensive as Switzerland is known to be. A salad of asparacus with cranberry vinaigrette was delicious as was sauteed slices of veal with mushroom cream sauce !!!

Large rooms, very comfortable beds and clean way beyond what you normally experience in hotel. Breakfast was excellent with above average choice of pastries, cheese, yogurt and fruits.

The owner and the staff were very nice, nice breakfast, clean rooms. I’ll stay here again if i come at this town again.

Dinner was excellent. The hotel was a lovely blend of old world and modern conveniences.

Everything (check-in, access, etc) is automated, but everything worked great. A very clean room, with fast Internet.

The hotel is perfect. It’s charming, clean and in a fabulous location between the Solothurn train station and the bridge into the Old Town. We booked two rooms for New Year’s Eve (a single for my teenaged niece) and it was the best value for money. The staff are super friendly and helpful (they made some modifications to our reservations and Daniela was super sweet at checkin and when we got cappuccinos, hot chocolate and croissants after breakfast had officially closed. They have a fabulous coffee machine available to guests next to the gorgeous area to drink and relax. Decor is very pretty! The beds are comfortable, linens are soft, and the rooms are very quiet. Super clean with great hot water and water pressure in the showers. Rooms accessible by elevator, so I will be bringing my older mom here, too. Now my favorite hotel in Solothurn (and my husband is from Solothurn and we’ve stayed in many hotels here). There is also an apartment where you can book individual rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom at great prices on this site. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return.

Great location and breakfast! Loved it all!

The location is amazing, its a beautiful property with neat and very well maintained rooms, and Marcus, the owner, is an exceptionally humble and cooperative person. His warm and friendly attitude made the stay experience even more pleasant. Also, good breakfast. Free parking, with the charging station for EVs.

Location, style (popular, alternative culture)

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our baby.
