Lodgings in Lofou

Easily one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed, the property is gorgeous and comfortable and has everything you need. We stayed in Elia House, it had a kitchen and laundry facilities with a great little garden room to eat the breakfast you can cook with the food they so graciously provide everyday. The village is so lovely and in the off season almost felt like we had it all to ourselves. We truly had the best time, stay here if you can!

What a wonderful place to have a nice vacation. Thank you Maria. Althought we didn't meet the owner it fills like invisible angel prepares for you all you need. The breakfast ingridients will be waiting for you in the fridge - eggs, yougurts, cheese, juice and even Birthday cake with the candles (we had a Birthday during the stay). Just wow. The property is located in very nice village that is being reconstructed. Just 30 years ago it was totally abondened place and now it is very nice village with some tavernas, microbrewery and many nice local people to meet. Have to mention that the property is located on the narrow street, like most of the village's streets, and the closest car parking is about one minute walk.

Everything was great. Fully equipped studio. Large and very clean space. Great host. The jacuzzi and the fireplace add to the overall experience. The perfect place to stay to explore Lofou and the nearby villages. Breakfast was plenty and in the fridge.

A very beautiful homely house. The owners were so kind and helpful! they even made us homemade cake and brought us eggs from their chickens.

Everything was excellent, very relaxing stay. The host was very helpful throughout and their home is immaculate. Recently renovated and completely modernized throughout.

The host was extremely polite and check-in and check-out were excellent. The house itself is magnificent and is located in one of the beautiful villages of Cyprus. The neighbors are quiet. The house is simply amazing and has its charm! Strongly recommend for the calm and peaceful escape surrounding by mountains. Everything was great and nicely decorated with exceptional taste and love. We decided to stay one night longer and Vera was very supportive and professional in helping to prolong our nice stay there! Cats were not disturbing at all as it’s written in others reviews. The house is fully equipped with all the essentials you need for cooking and bbq. We only regret that we arrived during the colder time in November so couldn’t use the pool. We will be missing this place and surely consider to get back again!

everything was great, the house has a lot of facilities, hot tub and projector are 100% covered from the rain which we were a bit worried about. bed was very comfortable as well. it was 100% great. Koula was very nice and made sure we had everything we needed dueing the check in.

Our stay was absolutely splendid! The owners of the Taverna are super friendly and helpful. The room is perfect with a well stocked kitchen and everything else you need. We had breakfast on the terrace looking at the stars above, it was absolutely stunning!

Really great atmosphere! Everything was exceptional, the rooms, the view, the nature, the restaurant and the people working there. Even though it was raining during our visit, it was still an unforgettable experience for us.

We were greeted very warmly right from the start. Also, it was our son’s birthday, and they decorated a table especially for him that morning and brought a small birthday cake with little party decorations and a number representing his age. Thank you again for that—our son and we really enjoyed it and didn’t expect anything like this.

Great hotel with comfortable rooms, wordless views, and really good restaurant.

Our family enjoyed every aspect of our stay at the New Helvetia. We did not realize until we arrived how unique the hotel is. The rich history is showcased in it's social areas that include a full bar, dining area, sitting area and gorgeous terrace overlooking the foothills of the Troodos. The space is full of vintage charm, but also included all the modern ammenities we needed (updated, clean and well eqipped bathroom), air-conditioning, and strong WIFI service. The staff was incredibly knowledgable, friendly and attentive. They truly seemed to love and take pride in this very special place. Go and enjoy!

Xenios and his wife were super kind. Very flexible with the check-in time, they got us cake, breakfast, and snacks. Xenios showed us around the town, which was also amazing. The cottage has a cute authentic vibe. Would definitely recommend to anyone
