United StatesMostly, I loved Gasthof Lerner because it is NOT a huge chain hotel. Cozy corner Gasthof with its own restaurant, easy walking distance to famous brewery Weihenstephan. Wonderful beds, pillows and bathroom. Our room was spotless. Included breakfast was easy full and delicious buffet. We will return to this property!

We had a delayed flight from Bologna and missed our connection so had to stay the night near Munich Airport. This place was a real find. Clean and comfortable with an excellent breakfast included in the price. Staff were helpful and cheerful. A couple of kms to the centre of Freising but bus stop outside and in any event the walk from the centre was easy. Very pretty town. Excellent transport links to the airport. So although we had not chosen to stay in the first place, this hotel made it worthwhile.

The hotel was extremely quiet with its quadruple glazed windows. Zero traffic or air traffic sound in the bedrooms.
Great pillows compared to the rest of Europe with their mushy feather pillows!

The lift to the hotel rooms was not very comfortable .... as it makes some noises like it is going to snap or go out of order and it is also very slow. The lift was more like a cargo lift then a passenger lift.
