Lodgings in Kelheim

A brand new 'drive-in' hotel and a perfectly equipped apartment - with a divinely comfortable bed, kitchenette and bathroom for relaxing tidying up. Coffee shop and bakery a few steps away.

I stay at the Dormero fairly often, just as a "staycation,"as I live nearby. It is SUCH a wonderful hotel, right in the heart of town, with great views from all the rooms I've ever stayed in. Great value, decor, amenities and many surprise extras. I highly recommend the Dormero!

This is a unique historical property, the accommodation is quite new, breakfast very healthy. I will actually be coming back.

Location was great. Easy to explore the city by foot considering we were on our bikes. Breakfast was good

Hotel is well located in the city center. Unique thing about the hotel is it is actually in a Old Tower. The Surrounding area of the hotel, backside is also very relaxed and peaceful. Breakfast is hearty and Healthy. The owner is very friendly and informative about the hotel. Rooms are spacious, clean and airy.

Everything!!! The flat was centrally located, comfortable and right above the cafe with delicious pastries. The staff are exemplary - a class act! Breakfast was personalized and above the cafe. We came by bicycle and they have a secure spot on the ground floor where we could keep them. We have been on the road for a month and stayed in many places. This is our favorite by far!! I would come back here in a heartbeat.

Everything! Great rooms, the host was incredibly helpful, breakfast was amazing, parking was easy

The location was exceptional as well as the property, breakfast and the staff!

Convenience and location. Large room with kitchen for family. Quiet location and helpful owner. Have stayed at this property twice before.

Good bike storage, location, facilities.

Location was perfect for our purposes, in the Altstadt, within walking distance of the Archaeologisches Museum (where my husband was working), shops, and restaurants; it was very quiet. The apartment very clean, cozy, and well appointed. There is even a nice bakery just next door, and a Hungarian delicatessen on the ground floor. Our hosts were extremely responsive, even helping immediately when we had misplaced the apartment keys!

The host and family are wonderful and provide the most excellent and welcoming experience. The location is beautiful and is just a short walk to the amazing and oldest operating monastery brewery in the world. Access, via walking, to river activities, hiking, eating/drinking, parking, etc. is great. By car, daily excursions to nearby castles, towns, and other worthy sites are just minutes away. The rooms are quite nice and the view of the river in the morning and the sunset in the evening are beautiful. The locals are friendly and fun to visit with over a cold one at the local Stammtisch. Of all the places we've visited so far in Bavaria, this has been our favorite (we've stayed here twice, so far...). We highly recommend Ferienwohnung zum Donaublick, a warm, welcoming, and relaxing place to be. Ciao!!!
