Lodgings in Roskilde

It is located right next to the Viking ship museum. It was so much fun to stay in a hostel again.

I liked the location, that it was close to the train station and in a quiet area. The owner really cared about the property and it showed in the cleanliness. I also enjoyed the free coffee in the morning.

The quiet location surrounded by green fields and pastures. Good breakfast. Historic architecture of main house, but fully modern accommodations that could be mistaken from the outside for an historic barn or stable. Walking opportunities. Friendly host.

Cozy, nice, clean place, recommend

Very lovely accommodation. Lovely garden area, large kitchen and living area, beds were very comfortable, dishes were superb. Wish we could have stayed longer.

location was great nice space

It was a beautiful area and a very nice little house that only looked little from the outside. It was bigger inside than I imagined. The shower had plenty of hot water. The kitchen was small but had everything we needed. The hosts even put fresh eggs from their own chickens on the table for us. We would stay here any time we are in the area.

Very lovely & peaceful, thoughtful & kind host

This hotel is centrally located; however, it was hard to find due to some road construction nearby. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was simple but good. Nearby are plenty of restaurants and Cafés. We ate at one of the recommended restaurants and enjoyed a 10% discount. After dinner, we enjoyed a nice evening walk. There is plenty to see and do in Roskilde. The Viking Ships Museum was the highlight of our short visit. We were thankful for the room upgrade!

Super friendly staff-they had a scavenger hunt for kids to explore the hotel and win some treasures which made the day for our daughter. Lovely breakfast buffet in cozy environment- plenty of choices -you could do you own waffles which was again a hit for our child Parking right in front of the door Amazing view from the terrace over the area and very close to copenhagen Very modern and clean facilities

We booked a 3 night stay at Scandic Roskilde Park and chose for the convenience of a a hotel just at the city border with a large and safe parking lot, while on a 3-week trip through Denmark. The city center is within walking distance (15-20min max) and if one choses to take the car (for instance to the Viking Ship museum), the access to main roads nearby is also very easy. As always within the Scandic group, the hotel has a high general standard and excellent large and fresh selection for the breakfast. Also the cleanliness of rooms and common areas is very good. The staff is very welcoming and helpful and the rooms are large in size with all conveniences one can ask for. We had a good night's rest as the area is very quiet and peaceful at the border of the park and the beds are very comfortable. We would definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.

It was cozy and homey. Our 10yo said that she would live there :) The breakfast was a set of semi prepared danish breakfast with buns (some of them might have been home-made, not sure), Lurpak butter and the usual accessories, plus muesli for the little one. We had the pleasure of eating it at our own time in the morning without going over to a "breakfast room" for a serving. Price was decent, especially if paying with MC 🇺🇸 or Visa 🇺🇸, as part of the price has to go to them and ofc, a big chunk of it goes to Booking.com 🇺🇸. hopefully, next time I will have the Dankort 🇩🇰 or MobilePay 🇩🇰 (Nordic Wero) ready so the big Credit Card folks dont get to skim from the top.

Very impressive hotel. It was among the cheapest options we had, still it was top notch. Big rooms, bathroom with electronic management of the water temperature, very nice buffet. Free parking in front of the hotel.

Loved how the sun reflected on the grass.

I was treated extremely kindly at reception. The room was clean and just the right accommodations for me and my brief overnight stay.

Clean nice and cute and great location

Friendly, helpful on-site owners. We just mentioned some interest to bike and in the morning 2 bikes were prepared. Whether you are a city dweller looking for an opportunity to gaze upon beef cattle, walk the roads to view the neighbor horse farms or come as a country kid at heart.. you’ll enjoy the stay. This is one of the best working flats we’ve stayed at. So many kitchen supplies to cook a nice meal to enjoy on the private patio. Quiet stay (beyond a rooster crow). Easy parking is a bonus. Grocery stores are near and so is the Roskilde harbor via car. We felt the tremendous pride the owner has in the property they love and are willing to share.
