Close to the parks and city center of Aranjuez.Ideal base to take the train into Madrid Sol (40 min, 18 euro return pp every 20 minutes)safe hotel parking and great restaurant and bakery nearby. We visited also great tourist attractions around Madrid..Great value compared to Madrid center hotel prices, with the added benefit of the beauty of this Spanish Versailles. Friendly staff.

The hotel was easy to get to the city centre and onto the motorway.
The hotel restaurant had a good varied menu and was very well priced for a hotel. The 2 staff members serving a lady and young man are very pleasant, chatty, and efficient.
There is plenty of place to park. The rooms are clean.

Location is hard to beat, a few steps from the royal palace. Breakfast was pretty good, but a better coffee machine delivering cappuccinos and lattes, rather than just espresso and americano would be a good addition (hard to believe to find a four star hotel without a proper coffee maker in the common dining room area!)

Reception were able to give us the room of our choice, which was the room we stayed in on our first visit five years ago. It was the room directly above the main entrance, with a balcony, looking directly at the royal palace.
Breakfast was a help yourself buffet, comprising just about everything one could want for breakfast plus stuff you'd never have thought of eg. beer yeast to name but one.
The room must have been the best in the hotel and was massive. The view was impressive, as I've mentioned.

Faultless stay. Arriving from the warmth of the South to the cold and rain what a lovely warm welcome. Easy parking. Atmospheric hotel with huge comfortable and warm rooms. There is a perfect area off reception where you can dine with your dog. We had a lovely meal and very helpful and friendly waitress. We also had breakfast in this area and again the very helpful staff supplied a wheeled trolley for us The breakfast was amazing. A lovely relaxing stay.

Lots of positives about this hostel, friendly welcome, parking directly outside, room comfortable.
Unfortunately, quite loud, and noisy during the night which resulted in poor sleep which was a shame because the bed was comfortable.
Breakfast was adequate but nothing special.
Extra charge for both parking and also to accommodate our small dog.
