Lodgings in Rantepao

Really great value, friendly staff, comfortable, spacious and clean. Would stay again. Thank you guys 😊

Very clean, very nice view over rice fields, close to main tourist attractions and very friendly staff.

Rianas was great. Daud is a wonderful guide. He knows the area so well and we felt that every place he took us to was so authentic. The funeral we attended was mind blowing. Such a special time. The home stay was great. Very clean, Macy (Daud’s) daughter is so lovely. She made us tea any time we asked. And everything she did was with the biggest smile!!! We had a lovely stay. Thank you Rianas

The owner is so friendly, helpful and kind. He answered all my questions about Ma’nene and gave me invaluable tips. Were it not for him I would have had to pay a lot for a guide. The Homestay has beautiful views of the mountains and the breakfast is great too. 100% recommend this place. For the price it’s a fantastic deal.

This is the best homestay ever! Yansen and his family already started taking care of us before we even got there. Everybody was super nice and giving good tips (funeral ceremonies, further transport, where to buy postcards;)…). They also provide laundry service and very very good food! We came as strangers and it felt like we left as a part of the family!

View, price, owner Christian was very helpful in every situation

We were very sick during our stay and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were fed and OK. He was so nice!! He helped us with scooters and bus tickets too. Bed very big, spacious room, beautiful setting. Clean.

My visit here will rank as one of my most cherished memories. Meyske, the proprietor, ensures the comfort and well being of each guest. She is proud of her heritage and takes the time to explain the local traditions. She and her partner David often joined us for meals to engage in conversation and to share experiences and make suggestions. She had the best WiFi I experienced in all of Indonesia!! And I have never showered with blooming flowers and butterflies joining me before. If you are a light sleeper, bring ear plugs because the roosters do an early morning concerto. They like to start the day with a crowing competition. This is a rustic setting about 3 Km from Rante Pao, so will not be for everyone. But it was exactly what my soul needed as there are lovely walks through the rice fields you can access easily. Make certain to be hungry for dinner. Meyske is a talented cook and every meal was delicious! An experience such as this is the reason why I enjoy travel so much. An opportunity to open yourself to new perspectives if you allow yourself to broaden your horizons.

Wonderful, tranquil and spacious. This place opened only a couple of months ago so everything is new. The beds are comfortable, rooms large and hosts terrific. They go out of their way to ensure all their guests are happy. I've been to Toraja many times and would definitely stay here again.

Good Heritage, Hotel, which bears the Legacy of Toraja.

Everything. Most beautiful hotel in Toraja. Quiet. Breakfast was good. The hotel owner is super friendly! Loved it so much.

Very nice location and I like that dinner is included in the price

We had great time here. A nice family homestay outside of the city center (it can be a little noisy though). Felt like at home, great moment over dinner, water refill, local medication if needed;) Room is spacious, clean, modern and well furnished. Breakfast was perfect and in addition you can rent motorbike here Henrick is a good guide I highly recommend a tour with him. He has strong knowledge about the toraja culture and will dedicate a lot of time to explain it. Kuree Sumanga !

Breakfast was incredible, staff went above and beyond to ensure we were happy during our stay. Originally booked two nights and stayed 6, feels like home. Highly highly recommend it here. The rooms are great, good AC, clean, laundry on site, can’t ask for anything more.

The property is amazing and Sarah is even better
