This Hotel was a highlight for us. Hard to pick a fault. What a beautiful place. Obviously the staff enjoy working at the property. Dinner was in keeping with the rest of the historic hotel. Superb. Worth all the positive comments available on the nett The guitarist in the lounge topped off the evening.

The Turquoise Room is a wonderful restaurant fantastic food. The staff were all helpful. It was exciting to see the trains coming through, and easy to imagine the hotel in times gone past.

The hotel is beautiful. It is almost more of a museum… An art museum with beautiful gardens surrounding it. We loved the old rooms and the signs outside each room denoting which glamorous movie star has stayed in that room. Walking around in the hotel, and looking at all the artwork was a great experience. The La Posada Hotel was even better than we anticipated.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. A really quirky hotel, with fascinating decorations and a wealth of history behind it. The staff were very welcoming and we even had our room upgraded on arrival. We really liked the games room and enjoyed playing chess during the evening with a glass of wine.

We loved this hotel. You can tell it has been lovingly filled with beautiful pieces by someone with a wonderful eye. The decor is charming and the gallery of paintings upstairs was a pleasure to view. All the staff members were lovely, the rooms were quirky, comfortable and pretty, and the experience of staying in a classic railway hotel was delightful. And the fresh muffins at breakfast were divine!

Lovely hotel, everywhere was clean with great staff. Breakfast was hot and freshly cooked to order and cannot fault wait staff. I was a bit apprehensive about the hotel with it being so close to the railway, but I shouldn't have worried, you can here the trains, just, but it's not like other places we have visited were the train drivers blast their horns as they go through at stupid o'clock. Would recommend.

The young guy at the lobby was completely "out of tune". He gave us an occupied room.... Then in the new room, towels had brown dirty marks on it.... Do not book this hotel...
