I just loved my stay at Mitra hostel, due to the extremely friendly and helpful staff (in fact - the owner). The cleanness and tasteful approach to design only topped up the positive experience. I would certainly recommend and book it again if going to Palolem in the feature!

If I could rate this place higher, I would. Not only is the place very nice and the facilities excellent, the thing that stands out are the people. The owner, his family and the people that work there are all genuine, thoughtful and kind. They were so friendly and helpful. The treated us like people, with respect, rather than tourists just to make money off. I would very gladly stay there again.

We loved the design, and the staff were all super-friendly and helpful. Great pool, and it felt like a real getaway in nature. The on-site cafe was beautiful, and handy for light meals etc.

The location is on the north part of the beach, which is quiet and peaceful. A lot of the "action" is on the south side of the beach... however, for my stay, I liked the quiet and tranquil part of the beach. For a solo traveler, this location was just fine with me. I liked the service of the staff. The manager was available for me 24/7 and was relaxed and helpful. I got into a jam with a scooter (which the property had nothing to do with), and the manager helped me right away and was a complete life saver. My bungalow had hot water, a large bathroom, it was quiet, it wasn't too hot with the ceiling fan, it was just pleasant.
