Firstly, the staff Sami and Mumin were amazing including the kitchen and cleaning staff. They were very friendly and accommodated all our needs. Breakfast on the first day was a buffet which was delicious with a variety of offerings and the second was was just as good. Due to us being the only people on day two in the hotel, there was no buffet but they asked us what we wanted and made it special. The room was as per pics and the mini bar was FREE. It was my first hotel where juices, sodas, and snacks were free. The hotel is amazing in terms or cleanliness and decorations. It has everything you need and an amaizing balcony where you can take your dinner and watch the city at night. We walked to petra from the hotel and it has many restaurants and supermarket around it. We definitely recommend staying here.

Sunset Hotel is located opposite the main entrance to Petra (3-minute walk away), in Wadi Mousa. It features free Wi-Fi in public areas and an outdoor restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. It is among the closest hotels to the entrance to Petra. It was easy to park. I think I was most surprised by the breakfast. There were many choices available including about six hot foods. The wi-fi worked well and he staff was very accommodating.

Overall great. As they we're not very busy we had a breakfast made to order, normally a buffet. It was excellent with too much food for us to eat. The room was a good size and the bed excellent. The staff were very accommodating. Supper was fantastic but again way more than we could eat but made sure we did not go hungry. The entrance to Petra is any easy walk slightly downhill with lots of shops and restaurants along the way.

Wooww what a place. One of best stays in our lives!! It was not like a hotel or BNB stay but rather a family visit. The place is being managed by three brothers who are incredibly friendly, kind and polite. We shared a lifetime experience with them, sat in the garden together, shared tea and stories… Place is designed by Wasfi with a combination of Andalusian style and Jordanian touches. Wasfi, you have a great vision! They allowed us to check in earlier. They also offer lunch and dinner at their kitchen. We had a chance to try an incredibly tasty maqluba for a very reasonable price. Warning here! Food they serve can be eaten by 5 people :) so generous portions!! Breakfast was also outstanding. Freshly fried falafel, labneh cheese, local goat cheese, fresh homemade hummus, homemade jams, olives, pickles… On one of mornings, upon our request, they prepared a “to go” breakfast bag which was very nice. Room was very cozy and beautiful. Cleaning in the room and kitchen was incredible. I still remember beautiful lemon scents from the towels. We did not have a car but we still think that location was convenient. 5 minutes walk to a central location with most famous restaurants, supermarkets. 20 minutes walk to the Petra visitor center or 4-5 min by car. If you do not mind walking a small hill, then it is totally fine. Price/quality ratio was 10000/10. The place will be always in our memories and if we come back one day to Petra, we know where we will stay. Guys, we wish you best in your business!!
