Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff! The hotel is very close to the Chichén Itzá archaeological site and the Tren Maya station. The hotel offers a free transport service to and from the train station and round trip transport to the archeological site for 100 MXN. The hotel restaurant offers good food at a very reasonable price. The room was very well designed and extremely clean. The room service, the pool and cocktails were all great. All the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Highly recommend for any visit to Chichén Itzá.

It feels like something out of a Wes Anderson movie - every detail is so thoughtfully designed. We booked a private room, which was beautiful and spacious, with a stunning bathroom, but honestly, the whole vibe of the place makes also the shared rooms look very appealing 💕 It’s not right in the center, but with Uber being so affordable here, getting around was super easy and never an issue. The girls at the reception were all incredibly kind and helpful, always making sure we were having a great time. A special shoutout to Jo, who gave us so many great tips 🙏🏼 We truly hope to come back here again someday!

We stayed at Hotel Sutuk during our honeymoon, and it was truly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at in our lives. After almost two weeks of traveling around the Riviera Maya, this was our final stop, and it could not have been more perfect. We chose Valladolid so we could be close to cenotes and avoid waking up extremely early for our visit to Chichén Itzá, and Hotel Sutuk ended up being the most romantic, peaceful, and luxurious place to unwind. It was incredibly quiet and private. At times, it genuinely felt like we were the only two people staying there. The hotel itself is stunning. The decor, architecture, bathrooms, and outdoor patio are all beautifully designed, and every detail feels intentional and elevated. We truly did not want to leave. The water cave downstairs was absolutely incredible and became one of our favorite parts of the stay. The food deserves its own mention. Please eat at their restaurant, Los Calabazos. The food was outstanding. We ordered room service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner during our stay because everything was that good. The staff also gave us amazing recommendations for cenotes that were far less crowded, which made those experiences even better. Yes, it is on the pricier side, but you genuinely get what you pay for. Privacy, comfort, luxury, and excellent service across the board. The staff are incredibly attentive and responsive, always available via WhatsApp for anything we needed. They even lend towels for excursions, which was such a thoughtful touch. Parking was also extremely convenient. The hotel has its own parking right next to the property, and the staff helps you park and move the car if needed, which made everything very easy. They also offer massages, which we sadly did not have time to try, but they looked amazing and are definitely something we would plan for next time. Hotel Sutuk was the perfect way to end our honeymoon. Romantic, serene, and unforgettable. We would return in a heartbeat.

Featuring a restaurant, a bar as well as a garden, DECU DOWNTOWN is set in the centre of Mérida, 500 metres from Montejo Avenue. The Hotel: A beautiful property with stunning original architecture and decorative details—truly candy for the eyes! The magnificent traveler’s palm trees in the courtyard were absolutely striking. Room: Very comfortable overall. Good a king-size bed, a spacious bathroom with enough amenities. Quietness: Despite being on a busy street, the inside of the hotel felt completely insulated from the noise of traffic. Room is very quite ( without the AC on) Location: Quite good. While the street itself isn’t particularly interesting, the hotel is just a 10-minute walk from the city center. The walk is safe, even at night. Parking: A paid private parking lot was available at another property right next door , and the cost was quite reasonable.

What an amazing find. We were dubious as we approached the hotel but drove through the gates and were very pleasantly surprised by a lovely big garden, parking area, swimming pool and well appointment rooms. This place is incredible value for money (I think it is new) and everything seemed new and well thought out. Comfortable, huge beds, nice sheets and towels, good bathrooms, sun loungers, and spacious pool deck. We did not have breakfast here but there was a small kitchen area behind reception that looked like you could use it to prepare drinks and snacks. It would be better to have a car as it is a 20-30 minute walk into the center of town. And not very picturesque until you get right close to the central square. But once you get in, WOW. Izamal is gorgeous! Well worth the visit, one night is enough, but you won't regret it!
