Think its a really solid hotel. Attached to a pub with a restaurant and a bottle shop with a supermarket across the road. Probably a 10 minute drive to most of Canberra's main attractions. Also the shower was incredible personally

Clean room. Smells good :) The family room is spacious, with an annexed 1-bedroom that has two single beds. Visiting during the winter, the electric warming blankets were great. Old from the outside but renovated from the inside. The bathroom is fully renovated (except the toilet, but that was OK). Wifi has a strong signal in all rooms (I tried two rooms and it was strong). I needed to extend my stay. I booked with Booking.com, and the staff took it from there, making our transition smooth and easy, as if we had booked it through them. They are not only welcoming but also smart. Thank you staff!

The stuff was very accommodating to our needs, there was plenty of nice hot water for the shower, and the bed was very soft and comfortable
