Hotels That Guests Love in Berkeley
  • The office staff was quite pleasant and accommodating, the housekeeping staff was very flexible about rescheduling cleaning our room. The hotel itself was clean and well kept, however it really was more of a Motel rather than a hotel, which meant some shady folks also staying there! The location was convenient, we were there for my daughter's graduation from UC Berkeley and there was a bus stop just outside with 2 bus going directly to the campus and downtown.🙂

  • The room was extra clean, had the most fascinating sleep experience for the very first time since I've been staying in hotels. Worth every penny paid! Quiet motel environment. Would definitely recommend. I was able to find a room for that very same night.

  • best motel in berkeley, very clean, driver friendly.

  • Good location close to campus-with onsite parking. Clean facilities and office staff very friendly and available. Returning from dinner at 11:00 and needed to re-issue my key card as strip had stopped working. Front desk staff responded quickly to the office bell. Nice response for a motel.

  • A wonderful vintage motel! The only thing I would change would be the mattress! This would be a great place if redone in total vintage furnishings & decor. Sooner or later, tho, there will need to be air conditioning! Built in 1946, they didn't need it then--they need it now! The "in the wall" ironing board was a wonderful piece of left over vintage! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Quiet, clean, and close to everything I needed.
