I am a UK traveller who stayed in October, so I was very hot. But the rooms are well air conditioned and designed. Plenty to do in the area including steak night on a Wednesday (don’t miss it) and horse riding (I recommend Historical Rides Bandera with Harrieth and Tom)

Haven Inn & Suites Downtown Houston. Nằm ở Houston, cách Sân khấu Wortham Center 11 km và Nhà hát Alley Theater 11 km. Now this was a good surprise! For a motel, this sure comes across as a decent affordable hotel. The place is clean, well maintained, parking is fine. I've stayed here twice on my trip, two different rooms, so a decent sample. The showers work, good pressure, warm works excellently. Paint and maintenance all look like it is recently well maintained. Breakfast was also the best I had anywhere, decent variation of choices, including several warm options. If they keep this up, this is a place I'll for sure get back to on my next trip through Houston. Best price/quality I've seen on my Texas trip, and I've seen a bunch of places. If you keep in mind this is a motel, you will for sure be contented and I expect as pleasantly surprised as I was.

Conveniently located just off US Highway 60, this motel features free Wi-Fi access. A cable TV is provided in each room at Friona Inn. The rooms also include a microwave and refrigerator. My work responsibilities require overnights in Friona at least once or twice a year, and I always stay at the Friona Inn. The rooms are immaculately clean and well maintained, and the family that owns the property are lovely people -- warm and welcoming, with outstanding customer service. Finding safe and reliable small-town lodging can sometimes be a challenge, and I am so grateful for the exceptional option that the Friona Inn provides. They're a gem.
