The hotel situated right next to Donau. From our room, we can see the river and it was very charming! The room was spacious and was beautifully furnished with antique furnitures. The staff of the hotel are couldn’t be more thoughtful and accommodating. Bastian at the front desk patiently waited for our late arrival and made every arrangement to make our stay pleasant and convenient. We also enjoy its breakfast very much, which is fresh and high quality of the food it offers. The jam is made by the inn owner’s wife if I am not mistaken (I was told “it was made by my mom” when I asked the young man who served us at the breakfast table) and it simply was the most delicious I have ever had!! They even generously gifted us some when I asked where and whether we can buy some (it is purely home-made and nowhere to buy!) Our random one-night stay surprisingly turned into an impeccable, lovely journey of itself thanks to the care the hotel staff paid to its guests. This is something one cannot easily expect but only encounter as many things in life. Thank you.

Great breakfast. It was easy to reach from the Danube bike path. The room was large, modern and clean with a small balcony. There was a large bike room in the basement. All the staff were friendly.

The host was really friendly, the facility was well equipped, we traveled with family, and we requested extra things and got all needed. Spacious place with very nice, quiet surroundings, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Location perfect - few meters from the river and nice walking distance into town to get everything you need. Bike parking was perfect. Rooms with en suite bath were huge (family room). With an entryway and main room. Beds solid and comfy. While we were there the Hostel did not seem to be fully booked so it was also rather quiet. Breakfast was well stocked - just a bit stuffy in the breakfast hall as it is sort of an atrium.

The score should be 11, in fact. Everything was perfect. There wasn't a single item we missed. Maybe a double bed would be nice but that is a personal preference.

We had a truly wonderful stay at the B&B Family Basement Apartment. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space is thoughtfully arranged, offering a perfect balance of privacy and coziness. We especially appreciated the attention to detail — from the quality furnishings to the little touches that made us feel right at home. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was spacious and modern, and the kitchen had all the essentials. The location is also ideal: quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive (around 5 km) from Tulln, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and everything else you might need. Parking right in front of the house was a great bonus, especially after long days of exploring the area. Above all, it was the warmth and hospitality of the hosts that made our stay so special. They went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and welcoming place to stay near Tulln. We would love to return!
