Everything. It's a truly cute historic hotel in a beautiful gorge I would never have found on my own. The rooms are nice, in a sort of historic-french decor. Breakfast is fantastic, nicely set, French bread, coffee to order, organic local yogurt, etc. Peaceful and quiet, a bucolic little river flowing by, walking trails, trees... it is all that it seems and more. Oh and fresh trout for dinner. What the French can do with a little butter, flour, lemon, and salt and pepper is amazing.
Everything. The views on the lake were amazing.
Great location on the water, brand new hotel, beautiful rooms, great buffet breakfast. Parking and underground carpark for guests, charming and helpful staff, we were made to feel welcome.
Convinient location for going to the creux du van, and it's great that they offer dinner and breakfast. The room had everything we needed.
Great views! Validated parking at the P+R nearby suitable for big cars (up to 2.1m). Would stay again!
Exactly as in the photos. Very big and cozy bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, and clean bathroom. The bed and pillows are quite comfy, and at night it is super quiet, no noise at all. The house is less 5-7 mins from a regional train stop that can take you directly to Neuchâtel (R15 if I remember correctly). There is a big Migros/Coop 10 mins waking and a small Migrolino almost in front of the house, enough to buy things for dinner/breakfast.
Small flat perfectly furnished. The kitchen is fully equipped, making it perfect for preparing your own meals. The decorating is tasteful. We had a few brief chats with the very friendly owners. It’s close to the Littorail (i.e. local tram which track is along the lake side) and to the centre of Boudry, where there are outdoor terraces for having a drink. Pass touristique from Canton de Neuchâtel provided giving free use of public transportation (incl. Littorail) and free access to museums (we visited Musée de l'horlogerie du Locle that is quite small but great).
I liked the rather remote location, kind of at the bottom of a ravine, at the end of the road. The A-frame unit was part of a house (maybe with other guests), but felt completely separate because of its entry orientation. The unit was spacious, cozy, clean, and comfortable. It was among our favorite places to stay in three weeks of traveling. The breakfast was generous and delicious; the outdoor setting was enjoyable. Wish we hadn't eaten dinner before arriving the night before; I'm sure it would have been wonderful. I also recommend going on a little hike on the trail/road at the park that is there. You arrive at the restaurant and the fellow (owner, family member of the owners?) running things was very personable and between my marginal French and his slightly more than marginal English we communicated adequately. Clearly, he wanted his guests to feel at home, and we did.
A beautiful and spacious home with a nice garden. A great location for visiting Neuchatel
