The host is extremely friendly and helpful. The location in the town is good. Within 5 minutes you are on the plaza. The room was spacious. The bathroom was a little bit small, but perfectly fine. And everything was very clean. Breakfast was good and you could have it whenever you wanted. I really recommend this place! Note, the host doesn't speak English, but everything worked out fine with the help of Google Translate.

    Breakfast was quite good, fruits + hot beverage + juice + eggs + bread... they were very attentive and went out of their way to improve the experience, i.e. giving extra hot water for my sweet hot chocolate. Or letting us leave the car for a bit inside their parking lot after the checkout. They are also honest about conditions at the desert if it's raining, length of the trips and recommendations with guides.

    Definitely the best hotel in Villavieja. Not a Ritz either but solid 3 stars. Quiet location, yet only 3 blocks from the center. Spacious rooms with well working AC and very good mattresses. Nice atmosphere - upscale traveller style, free indoor parking, little pool, nice patio. Very friendly and helpful owner and nice personnel. THE place to stay in Villavieja...

    We had a very warm welcome and instructions for visiting the Tatacoa desert. The hotel is the most clean space we’ve ever encountered in Colombia. It was so good maintained. We loved the swimming pool to cool down. Breakfast were fresh eggs, juice, hot chocolate, coffee and some fruits. Room was spacious, good (cold) shower. Our room was also daily cleaned. We could also park the car safely inside. It’s only a 10min drive to visit the desert. Restaurants and small shops are within 5minutes by foot. Excellent location.

    It is a very nice hotel with a beautiful garden and pool. The parking is private and secured which was great. Staff is nice and breakfast was good (choice between 2 or 3 options). It is also very pleasant to have a breakfast with all the Colibri's in the garden. The staff really went the extra mile when cleaning our room. We really appreciate it. The hotel also offers a laundry service (no dryer, only air dried naturally which we personally prefer)
