Gabriel and family are tremendous hosts, supremely welcoming and friendly, literally opening their farm to guests…and delivering fresh meals from their bioregenerative farm. Ready to teach about their practices and methods.

We stayed as a couple for two nights and had an amazing time! Ruth and Andreas are excellent hosts, super kind, and made this stay truly outstanding! The breakfast of homemade bread with local artisanal jams, fresh fruit and juice, coffee and eggs, was the perfect start to every day. The apartments are modern, very comfortable, and clean. You can see hummingbirds, butterflies, and (if you're lucky) toucans right from your terrace and bed. The sunsets are stunning too. Our time here was the highlight of our two week-trip and we'd love to come back sometime!

The location is close to Vulcan Irazu, making it very convenient to get to and from the park. The cabin is nicely laid out and comfortable. The kitchen facilities are basic, but we were only there to sleep and set out for exploration, so we weren't preparing our meals there. The cabin has a loft that has ladder-like stairs to get up to it, so it is not for those with mobility issues, and families with young children need to be cautioned. The owners were extremely warm and welcoming. They couldn't have been more hospitable
