Hotels with Parking in La Abuela

The beachfront location and superb hosts were what created our amazing experience. A special Christmas to remember!

Beautiful setting with the most gorgeous beach and abundant wildlife and activities

Quiet, clean property with excellent food and pool. It was a great value and just what we were looking for. The private cabin with kitchen was lovely and air conditioned. There were enough things to do nearby but not so much that it was crowded or overwhelming. The scarlet macaws are magnificent and nest on the property.

This place is actually even better than it appears in pictures! We had a whole building to ourselves which included a great little kitchen and full size fridge. We were only here two nights but could have stayed way longer. The pool was great and it was a short 5 minute walk to the beach. There's not much to do nearby, but you can walk to a few restaurants and grocery store. It is down a gravel road but any vehicle can do it.

The hosts were the best!! The place was spotless. It was just everything and more.

The views were beautiful in a nice quite area to relax

The location was great: quiet and relatively close to many nice places like Curu wildlife refuge, Montezuma, Santa Teresa. The host (Brigitte)was very nice and friendly.

The room and bathroom were very nice. The pools were relaxing and surrounded by great nature. Thomas was a very hospitable host willing to help with anything related to our trip.

The food on the buffet was great, just more options of sea food will be great!

The home is located in a beautiful gated community. The house was clean and spacious. It suited our family of 6 (four adults &2 kids) perfectly WITH 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Very big kitchen too. Well equipped. The pool is awesome. Back yard is very private. We saw many Macaws, howler monkeys came to visit a few morning and evenings and the kids even saw a deer! The beach is a short walk or golf cart ride. There is a restaurant right on the beach and a cute coffee place. The beach is so big you feel like you have it to yourself. Warm water too!! We met lots of people in the neighborhood all very friendly. Oh and there is a convenience store quite close to the house also. Very relaxing place. We will return. Thank you Ruben!! You were so helpful!! Pura Vida. Nancy.

Beachfront experience in one of the best parts of Costa Rica ! It is very quiet and not busy except for about an hour every day when lots of tourists boats come to use the beach and watch the sunset before the bioluminescence tours …. But we just wade in or take a paddle board out when they leave and watch the show from our own personal beach.

They have a great location. The staff was very professional. The restaurant was very good.

First came twenty years ago, and had such fond memories. Returned to find comfy mattresses and pillows, wonderful included breakfast, and lovely staff. Didn’t disappoint! It’s perfectly central, has a lovely patio, and is a great value.

This is a wonderful place to stay, fantastic views, peaceful surroundings, our hosts fabulous and the food exceptional!

It was very comfortable, beautiful, clean, well maintained. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything was super as always
