We liked the rooms. The kings room was excellent for people with disabilities. We liked the hotel cleanliness and the big party room. We attended a 15th birthday 🎂 party and had a great time.

Excellent stay. Perfect location. Walk to many parts of town but not located in a busy area. Incredible, homemade breakfasts in a flower filled courtyard. Staff is attentive and friendly, as well as professional. Historic building that is very charming and also has a cool rooftop patio. Gated parking is just around the corner. 1 minute walk.

This place is always a pleasure to come back to. Everyone is so friendly and the place is well run and maintained. I appreciate that they have parking on site. Breakfast is always a highlight with the spectacular views from the restaurant, I recommend the poached eggs with avocado on toast, a perfect way to start your day in Cuenca.

We were planning this trip to Cuenca for a long time. We decided to stay at La Casona based on the reviews and also the private parking. Our stay was great. The room was comfortable, the staff extremely nice, the breakfast was delicious and the location was awesome. Close to many good restaurant options and with a short walk you can reach the historic part. If we go back, we are staying at La Casona again.
