Despite my booking did not seem to first appear on their systems, the staff were very friendly and made me feel very welcome. It is a cute old pub/ inn which seems to be a favourite of the locals. They are extremely dog friendly, the staff love and have dogs and recommended a nice wee local woods wander for us. The room was generally clean and good size, my extra requests were met very quickly and efficiently. There is a large shared bathroom between all 3 rooms. I found the bed comfortable. I had very nice veggie breakfast, good choices available.

Great village pub - welcoming and cozy. Great village location as well as location for surrounding attractions. Excellent food and breakfast.

Brian on reception was so helpful and was able to change us to a Family room as needed more space. All staff very friendly and welcoming. Love the breakfast.

The staff are wonderful and can't do enough for you and was so warmly welcomed as a solo traveller The building and rooms were full of character Location is excellent - 4 minutes drive to the white horse Food is excellent Rooms are warm, clean Onsite parking Bathroom and bedrooms were spacious

Absolutely gorgeous. Larger than usual shepherds hut, with fixed bed plus sofa/dinning area. Fabulous location in a field with horses. And beautiful view. All very clean and tidy. Very easy to find just outside a beautiful village with a little shop. Very handy for walking the Ridgeway and White Horse Hill. Plenty of parking and a flat grass area for games and BBQ etc. Idilic!
