Hosts were wonderfully accommodating and make you feel at home right away. The room was amazing, little separate side room with two single beds was perfect for me and my teenage son, while my parents had the main space. The beds were so comfortable my mum said it's the best sleep she's had in ages! Bathroom is huge and very luxurious I wish I had time for a bath! Refreshments in the room were everything we needed. Although we had to go down stairs to the adjoining pub for water. Breakfast was absolutely delicious both mornings! For a group of fussy people with different intolerances, they went out of their way to make us feel normal and well fed.

I needed somewhere quiet and doggy friendly to work on my book, and the Laurels met my needs perfectly. The apartment is beautifully furnished, with very nice large living room, a lovely bathroom and small kitchen. Kate and her family were very welcoming.

See our review under the Poddy on this same lovely property! Quiet, idyllic country chalets yet close to town for meals and shops. Hostess is friendly and helpful! The Nook was clean and cozy, and parking was great too. I recommend this property!

We liked just about everything about staying at the Castle and Ball. I stayed once before so I knew that it would be good. I love the location, parking is great and staff are friendly and helpful. Room was comfy and breakfast good.

The staff were friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and quiet. The food was really good, both for dinner and for breakfast. The pub is also comfortable and well laid out and waiting staff were good. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Really welcoming clean quiet place ideally located for Avebury etc. laid back and quirky food was fine and beer was good! They very kindly let me raid the walnut tree for green walnuts! Breakfast was great and plentiful. Would recommend for it's lively local clients as well as the welcome given to guests.

    Our hosts were excellent. The breakfast was 5 star, the rooms clean and the location lovely. Ben made sure that we were happy and comfortable and Elderbrook House comes complete with a pub so you don’t even need to go out for a drink or evening meal. A friendly atmosphere and a warm welcome. Parking is provided in the price , a lovely bonus. Thankyou.

    A well placed B&B for visiting Avebury. Lots of parking space, a good welcome, clean and well appointed room and a lovely freshly cooked breakfast. If you eat in the evening at The Red Lion in Avebury show them your Dorwyn Manor room key to get 15% of the entire bill. Overall, cant fault this B&B.

    Great stay for a single night whilst visiting Avebury. Really helpful staff. Very appreciative of the lift to drop us off at the local pub to visit the site as there was no parking at Avebury NT car park. Breakfast was excellent. Great choice and plenty of it. Would highly recommend.

    It was well located to visit the stone circle site, and in a beautiful setting. Plenty of free parking space. My room was a good size and clean, with tea/coffee making facilities. Bed was comfortable. Has a small but adequate ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful and very good. Friendly staff. Discount for meal at local pub, which was kindly booked by host.
