Traditional English breakfast was perfect. Our hosts were the nicest people, took time to help plan our road trip further into the UK and also suggested places to visit in and around Dalwood. Room was clean and comfortable and the ambiance of the property was very relaxing. Property was a little off the mainstream, but a very rewarding experience and definitely worth a visit. Take time to go to hill at the top of the town and the vista over the valley looking into Dalwood is amazing.

An old building full of character which is now run as a hostel on the basis of sustainable living. So it's not like a posh modern hotel but it was a beautiful, peaceful place to stay. They also offered very good vegetarian dinner and breakfast.

Friendly staff made us feel welcome and couldn't do enough to make our visit the best. Our room was perfect, clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable ✨️ Could not fault it 100% will definitely go there again and encourage others to visit. Might seem off the beaten track but it's not and worth the minimal effort...loves it..can't rate it enough 💖

Felt homely and the doggy welcome bag was a brilliant surprise!

We loved the suite! It was very convenient and had a nice atmosphere. The kitchen was useful. John and Sue were very hospitable and had kept the place ready for use with milk and biscuits.

Amazing decor and hospitality

Super cute Shepherds hut, very well appointed with everything we needed. Warmed up very quickly with the provided heater.

It's in a perfect quiet and peaceful location with a very cosy room that has everything you need, teas, coffee, biscuits and other goodies. The breakfast options are ideal for a light breakfast. On arrival one finds a dedicated parking space and at the front door the warmest of welcomes awaits. It's the second time I've stayed and will certainly return !! 😊

A lovely property with everything you could wish for. Lots of outdoor seating areas in a beautiful peaceful location. The hot tub was great to come back to and unwind after a day out. Joy was a fantastic host and explained everything about the property and how things worked.
