There was mold around the seal cap of the provided water bottle and it was open and partially full, the bedding was worn too small for the bed, the towels were dingy and old, had the feel Of towels used for years and there was hair at the transom into the shower when you opened the door. We were greeted by another guest who had been left with instructions, the host wasn’t even on site .

    The breakfast hall is more like a conference type arrangement than an intermate setting - food was ok but had better - The onsite evening restaurant was a blessing, as not much open when we arrived in this location aswell it was opened quite late Plenty of free parking unless there is a conference on and the carpark fills up in the morning but clears out by evening

    Dinner and breakfast in the adjacent and busy pub / diner were hearty and reasonably priced. The room was clean, and the bed was reasonably comfortable. The duty manager was friendly and helpful, although clearly focussed on the bar / diner activity rather than the few guests using the dilapidated hotel section. Good car parking, even when the pub was busy.

    Room, breakfast, dinner all good. Swimming pool handy. Didn't use the gym but it looked well equipped. Car parking plentiful and free of charge. Access to hospital was primary reason for visit, as a relative was having care - extremely handy for that.

    Great location with free car parking - Easy to get into Glasgow City centre by regular and reasonably priced train. Breakfast was OK - tables weren't very well cleaned, so each morning, bar one, we had to wipe them down ourselves. Staff friendly - though, on our arrival, we were asked to sit in the bar with our meal because the lady had already cleared up in the restaurant despite it still being within the operating hours.

    We were very grateful to be able to leave our car there all day as the hospital appointment we were attending for lasted longer than we had expected. The car parking at the hospital is difficult we were told by everybody.
