Beautiful property. Very classy and cozy at the same time.

The cutest shepherd hut we've ever stayed in. It was small but mighty with everything we needed and thoughtful storage for our things. It was so comfy we didn't want to leave! We stayed here for the Braemar highland games and it was perfect. My husband enjoyed the hot tub as well.

Location for exploring the area was great, Yvonne was a super host, well equipped, quiet, beautiful area to explore on bikes

We stayed at the Cambus o May four years ago when they were first getting started and there have been overwhelming improvements. We stayed in the newly renovated fully furnished two story three bedroom cottage surrounded with mature trees and it is magnificent! Total old world charm. It has a fully furnished kitchen and even a clothes washer and dryer. There are 1 1/2 bathrooms. There are two fireplaces with never ending firewood and numerous electric heaters throughout the cottage. The walls are decorated with fantastic historical art. It is a five minute walk/ one minute drive to the main hotel building. The main hotel is so charming with a very nice dining room and a full bar lounge. Breakfast and supper were over the top and the entire staff and owners are wonderful.

The history of the place, the building itself and superb location in the forest. Rustic harm of the property and all wooden encrustations and carving are simply amazing. Food was very good at the local restaurant plus a moderate selection of good whiskies . Cozy fireplace was lit during the evening. Great staff!

Andrew and Suzie were excellent hosts. We will be back.

Second stay at this property and again, it was all perfect. The house is isolated and very quiet. Close to Aboyne and Ballater. The large kitrchen has lots of pots and dishes. Will rent again.

Property was comfortable and very clean. The bedding and towels well very good quality. I would return as I love the area and there doesn’t appear to be a lot of suitable holiday accommodation. The information booklet is excellent.

Joyce and Garry are exceptional hosts. They make you feel that your comfort is their priority. They are available 24/7 ready to help and make your stay memorable. The property is amazing and the room is very clean and comfortable. Food ingredients are well selected picked with care to provide the best quality. The car parking is very unique and beautiful. The place invites to revisit.

I loved waking up to the birds. It was absolutely quiet at night. Lots of hiking everywhere. Nature center.

We loved every second of it, so peaceful and cozy and can't wait to go back

On site restaurant and bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent

Large House, beautiful location on a quiet street in a Woodland type setting close to all local amenities

Everything! Absolutely wonderful. Would highly recommend a stay. The staff team at The Boat are so kind and welcoming. Food is absolutely delicious! Rooms and all decor throughout The Boat is gorgeous.

It was a lovely accomodation, very clean and with everything we may need. The fire was on when we arrived and it was lovely and warm.
