We received a warm welcome from Jo, she is so bubbly and made us feel right at home, ensuring we were comfortable. The bedroom and lounge are very comfy, In fact its such a lovely space, very open and airy with a beautiful wood burner fire place for this chilly evenings (and a small fridge) Breakfast was hearty and delicious. There were cereals, yogurt, fruit juices, a large pot of fresh coffee and the English fry up was great! We certainly were spoilt for choice. Thank u Jo! Only 10mins drive from RYE, so very close for exploring and a number of lovely pubs in the surrounding villages for a meal out. We would def recommend this little gem and a morning walk around the orchards is a must. We will be back.

Excellent breakfast with multiple options. Really enjoyed the fresh fruits and fruit juices that make a great appetizer for a hot or cold breakfast prepared with a variety of choices. Most important in the telling of why we really enjoyed our stay (besides the very comfortable facilities and wonderful food,) was that Chris, the host. was so kind and welcoming upon our arrival, that we quickly felt like welcomed guests in his home. We had great conversation and learned a good deal about one another as we shared some interesting bits and pieces of ourselves; that allowed in the end for us to feel like old friends visiting someone we really looked forward to seeing again.

What a great place! The cottage has everything you wish for - and more! (Like a bath!) But we especially loved the views; they’re even better than on the pictures. And our dog loved exploring the land with the horses and donkey. Lynda is a great host and we can recommend her beautiful Rose Cottage!

Perfect space for two with a roomy downstairs and a nice bedchamber on the first floor. Nice little attentions from the hosts (eggs, butter, bread and cookies) to start you off and everything that you need to do cooking or breakfast is available in the kitchen. Acces to a secluded garden and field, which was great to give the dog some exercise in. Iden is close to a lot of nice places to visit in East Sussex and Kent. The friendly hosts (Brenda and Paul) live next door, are very nice to chat with and they make sure that you have everything you need.

Everything. It felt like a beautiful retreat. So peaceful, and the room was so spacious and well thought out. Beautiful food and very relaxed. Will definitely return, but for more than 1 night.
