We visited in the winter which is likely not peak season for the area, it’s when my son had time off from school and we wanted to visit the area. It was pretty cold out and pretty much stayed to our room to keep warm. There is a nice balcony and it looks as though you could go on a nice walk if interested. As we were leaving we asked if she could fill our water bottles and she returned with the water plus a bag of apples. Which made a nice snack on our visit to Vardzia Caves.
